    Apply for F1 when Spouse visa is already in process

    I am a US Citizen and I have already submitted an I-130 for my spouse to immigrate to US in December 2019. He wants to attend a 1 year certification course in the US, which requires a student visa. If we apply for student visa will that affect his immigration ? Or will they reject his student visa due to a case already in process ? Please let me know what you all think. Thank you!
