But her tone was awful.

So I have found DOS to be more useful. But still not always friendly.

Glad to find other people to talk to waiting like me, yes she just got her P-3 yesterday, how do you put the timeline at the bottom of your posts? good luck to everyone waiting I called NVC once about 2 weeks ago and yes she was not very nice. Was told to wait another 2 months, glad it did not take that long.

It is rough seeing people from other countries that were approved after me already passed interviews, but it will be worth the wait.

Well, I finally had a night were I didn't have to wake up very early for work, and I was able to call the service center. That trick worked perfectly, I got ahold of a very kind woman within a minute, who told me she will have a NOA 1 sent to my american address. That's great. This time change is a killer, so it is very good to be able to save some time and get ahold of someone so promptly.

I have called 3 times and still have not gotten my NOA1.

I have a question about touches. I have called USCIS a couple of times trying to get my NOA1 sent to me. Sept. 4 I called using the RFE trick and was told the file was still pending and had not been assigned yet. The date on the USCIS website has never updated since may 31, 2007 even after my previous calls. After the call sept. 4 my update changed on sept.5 and again on sept 6, is this because of the call sept.4? I'm confused. Still never got the NOA1 either.

I didn't get any touches, before approval. It's different for everyone. Though, I'm sure it's fine not to get any touches, don't worry.

Did you call them? If you did, it's probably the what we call "1 call 2 touches" system. You get touched on the day you called, and another the day after.

I called them July 16 about not getting the NOA1 yet and the first lady checked my WAC# and said it was not important but will transfer me to CSC to talk to someone else. I was transferred and she checked my WAC# in the system and said they will send it next week. When I check online my date still says May 29. No "touches" or anything. Maybe she really did not check it with a computer?

Just curious to know if maybe someone else is in my area. I really don't know anyone here and it would be cool to meet someone from VJ who is also going through this immigration thing. So, is anybody out there? LOL

Hi Kevin, we have almost the same dates! I sent ours May 2nd and it arrived on May 7th as well. Same as you, nothing yet. Check hasn't been cashed or anything. From what I've read on this forum, there are many others like us that haven't heard anything yet; I think they are very slow right now. I hope we both hear something soon!

Check was cashed today june 1.

I sent out my package on the 8th of May (delivery confirmed), but no NOA1........I checked my bank every morning to see if they cash the check or not. Should i start worry yet?

Hi All, we have been waiting since May 3rd when Neb. Recieved the I-129F. Its the 30th and the USCIS say to give them 2 more weeks then they have a way to help track the Petition. They didnt cash the check yet either. What can we do? Any Ideas

Same here, Mailed May 3 they told me today wait 2 more weeks, she told me because of the volume of applications due to fee increase it will be delayed

Ours was sent to NSC on 23rd April and the cheque wasn't cashed until the 23rd of May. They are a bit slow at processing receipts at the moment so your time is not that unusual.
