I think my fiance and I have the worst luck compared to VJers here. We mailed our I-129F to NSC late April, then our file got transferred to CSC. Our check was cashed in mid-May; then our NOA1 was issue on May 23rd. We started to wait and wait and wait.................no touch according to USCIS online status, no RFE, absolutely nothing!!! We called customer services many times, all we got were just some crappy standard answers. Then last week, we finally got to talk to an immigration officer, she said our case was assigned to an officer, however, she can't see in the system regarding why it's taking so long. She helped us send a remindar to that officer, at the moment we just have to wait. I really just want to $#()(*&%&@ INS.

Anyways, good luck to all of us who haven't gotten NOA2.

  2. It updated online this morning... approval notice sent yesterday!

SSAH, congrats! We sent in our petition in April, NOA1 dated 23 May. So it's been more than 8 months, we still heard nothing. Nor our online case status shows any 'touch'. Sigh......we called in, the customer rep said 'Ya..... your case is outside of the processing timeframe; we will go ahead file a service request for you guys, you will be informed whereabouts of your petition 45 days'. This is really driving us crazy. How was your progress before you get your NOA2? did you get 'touches'? Our concern is that they might have lost our case but refuse to admit it.

Congratulations SSAH, i can imagine how you feel but finally the first step is done enjoy your approval

To bun bun, we also filed in April and got our first notice april 20th. They did a service request for us on Dexc 4th and on Dec 19th we got approved. It doesn't mean that you guys have to wait the whole 45 days bevor you hear something. You guys are in my prayers, i know that wait can drive someone crazy but dont loose hope it will come (F)

    Syl

Syl, I am really grateful for your message. We heard absolutely nothing after NOA1, no RFE, no touch, no mail....etc. I do hope this service request will lead us somewhere. Congrats on your NOA2, good luck on your interview.

  4. Ours got forwarded from the NSC to the CSC as well, and it took several months for the check to get cashed. Overall processing time was quick though.

Your case is definitely taking too long! Hopefully the "service request" gets something done! Did they give you any timeframes from the service request?

I'd say your case is also worth contacting a congressman about if something doesn't happen soon.

Sorry this happened! Maybe it will get cleared up soon. Good luck!

Jesse, thank you very much for your advice. They will let us know within 45 days regarding whereabouts of our case. How do we contact a congressman about this? Could you please give us ideas?

  5. Anyone have any idea what's going on with CSC?

Our NOA1 date is May 23rd 2007. We called on Dec 28th, customer service told us that our case should have been processed, so they will file a service request for us. According to the online case status check, our case doesn't even have a 'touch'. Anyone out there experienced/heard anything similar to ours? We are desparate; it's like we just throw our petition into a black hole.

By the way, we mailed our package to NSC but they transferred the case to CSC in late April. And it took them 1 month to cash the check and mail the NOA1. :help::help:

  6. :help:

We mailed our package to NSC on April 26th. From the back of our cashed check, we got our receipt number, however, NOA1 is yet to be received. Based on our receipt number, online case status indicates that our petition has been transferred from NSC to CSC on May 23rd. It appeared that NSC no longer handled I-129F according to its processing dates table on USCIS website.

Okay, this is fine. As about a week ago, CSC was still processing I-129F under its service center processing dates table. But today when I checked, I-129F disappeared on CSC processing time table. Anyone notices? And I-129F shown up under NSC's processing time dates. What's going on??!! We are so pissed off. Does this mean that our petition was first received at NSC, it's then transferred to CSC, and as CSC is so backlogged, all cases being transferred to NSC. This is so messed up.

Anyone knows anything about this :crying:

  7. Ken,

Thanks for your cheer up :)

So now me and my fiance are just patiently waiting. He has been checking his bank account a few times a day to see if the $170 check is cashed. Like some others have mentioned in this forum, it's so weird that we want the check to be cashed so badly. It's been 25 days since our petition got delivered to NSC.

This is painful, but I guess whoever going through the K-1 process needs to face this. Thank you all for your warm replies.

    keep in touch

  8. Thanks sooooooooo much everyone!!

It's such a relief that we are not the single case being in this situation. I was just thinking that our petition was the only one got mislocated by NSC people. Now I know just to wait patiently until check is cleared or NOA1 gets into our mail.

Really, thank you all so much for replying my message.

I will post it here as soon as either the check is cleared or NOA1 is received, so we same 'boaters' can give comfort to each other :)

  9. -petition package sent on 4/26

    -USPS confirmed delivery on 4/30

-check not cashed up to date 5/23

-call customer service hotline, confirmed our information hasn't been entered into the system yet 5/23

    -of course, no receipt yet

23 days has been passed, this is taking freaking long for them to even cash the check? Is this normal? is anyone facing the same problem like us with NSC? help!!!

Any advice is greatly appreciated. :help:
