During the four months, the case was only updated one time by the official. I contacted the embassy in GZ every month, but they really dont give any meaningful information except for repeating that further processing is undergoing.

I am just a rank-and-file member of CCP,and have never been involved in any political activity. I dont konw why the processing takes such a long time, is it possible that I lived outside China for three years for my PhD? Besides living in Japan for several years, I have been to many other countries for academic conferences or school...

We called NVC, the representative doesnt help anything. We tried to get help from a laywer, but it seems he cant help us either at this stage.

We dont know what to do right now.....it is really frustrating, we are hoping to get some advices from friends who are on the same track.

So after how many days you got visa after AP?

They didnt tell me that they are reviewing my documents even when I asked them via emails. They sent me the public response that your case is under AP. Also my last update status never got changed since my interview on 30th sep. Whether I call or email they send me the same reply. 

I also got same reply that you got but there is may be visa category limit get full .may be you get your visa issued this new year

I am from karachi and i got my interview on 16 sept and VO asked me to upload additional docx i upload additional required docx on 25 sept and my ISL case is in AP from last 3 months as well i send them 2 inquiries in this time frame and i got email from them that they are reviewing my docx .Is there any contact details of anyone that we can connect each other by knowing the status of eachother cases.
