I wanted to update you that it seems that it is true the embassy is starting to reschedule those interviews that were cancelled whose medical exams are expiring. My husband medical exam expired September 12 which was the 6 months mark and I received the interview letter for our new interview date for September 17.

So I would be on the look out if I were you checking email, or if you get a call. I received a call first and then received the letter right after in my email.

When did your husband do his medical exam? I’m just trying to see if they are going off a certain timeline.

My interview for CR1 got cancelled due to covid 19 it was scheduled for March 26, 2020. But my husband had already gotten is medical exam and fingerprints done but we have yet to hear anything about our interview being waived or rescheduled... does anyone else know if there is something I am supposed to do to get a new date or is it just another waiting game till the Embassy opens back up and start rescheduling themselves??

Yes same here I have my flight I am hoping that if they do end up rescheduling that we are notified this week so i can make adjustments. 

Has anyone received anything about their interview being cancelled and or given a new interview date ?? mine was also at the end of this month.

Also does anyone know iif the evidence that we bring to the interview have to be in a clear folder or can we bring it in a manila folder?

Hi Dnwee,

How far apart was the medical exam scheduled from your interview? they say its best for it to be at least 2-3 weeks apart so the results can be ready.

Hi Sia, About how long did it take for your documents to get accepted by NVC. They sent me an email saying mine are being reviewed but kind of wanted to know a timeline.
