Not sure what you mean by advice, just need to wait it out.

advice I mean if anyone's been on the same exact boat, yes I have seen the discussions but most of them are for H1B or marriage's visas etc. my O1 is only for 3 years, I already have a job and i might lose it from minute to minute I really do not understand why they are doing this for my O1.

Hi guys, I really need someone to be in the same page as me or else I am going crazy, I have been approved on Oct 30 for my O1 Visa, on Nov 12 I went for my interview in the US Consular and the officer there told me "you have been approved please give us 3-4 days and we will send your passport through courier", after 3 hours I am receiving an email from the US Consular saying " Although you were advised at the time of your interview that your visa was approved, we will not be able to issue your visa right away nor confirm its approval at the moment, Rest assured that we will contact you when a determination has been made on your visa application case." and they put me in 221(g) without wanting more documents, explaining nothing, nor what the problem is nor how long in will take, NOW its been 6 weeks and I still did not receive any update, I feel am in limbo. I am about to lose my job if I don't go back as soon as possible. Anyone on the same page? Anyone being through the exact same thing for an advise?
