Now fast forward. I renewed my passport and change my last name to my now married name. And also renewed my SOFA and now has my last name as well. 

 

I'm sorry about the misunderstanding about the post. SOFA will be put under your maiden name if your passport is still in your maiden name.

She’s also right, Ramstein is having an exercise so passport office is close but the one making the sofa is a german national so your process won’t have any delays. So meaning you use your maiden name (as it its on your sofa and passport) on your plane tickets?

In my case, Passport + sofa maiden name, orders married name. We have been in Germany for over 3 years and made several trips back and forth without any problems.

 

If you have time, get it changed. If not, take the risk and hand carry your marriage cert as a proof of name change

 

there is an exercise going on right now and passport/sofa office is closed until it’s over, idk when tho

Thank you so much for the information.im just really nervous coz this is our first pcs.im still waiting for my sofa tho and i dont know what name should i put on the ticket. I dont know if it it should match my passport (which is maiden) or match with the orders and command sponsor which is married name

What name did you use for your flight? The one on your passport? Im in the same situation and im so confused. I have filipino passport which is maiden name but all of my id such as green card command sponsor military dependent id are all married name
