  1. And yes, I did come back to gloat. Here I am again, as for the argument that not voting means you can't ######, sorry. That's just stupid. I WILL not vote for the lesser of two evils ever again.

  2. It's been several months. I'm single now. I had to forget about this site for a while. I'm back. I don't know if I'll come often, but I just wanted to say:

    HILLARY LOST! EAT IT! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That said, I may choose to not vote in a presidential selection for the first time since I could.

  3. I too hope that she's just overwhelmed. I don't even have my interview date yet and I'm already overwhelmed! Moving to a new country is not something to be taken lightly I've learned!

I'm not sure what will happen if she cancels her interview. Hopefully you'd be able to reschedule. I'm thinking you probably would. Make sure though to get an extension on the NOA2 if this happens though. You wouldn't want that to expire.

I wish you both all the best.

Do you know how to get an extension? I'm lost right now. It's all I can do to not start bawling.

  4. We haven't had a fight. We very rarely argue and when we do we're able to resolve it quickly. I'm hoping she's just overwhelmed and will come around. Does anyone know what happens if she cancels her interview? Can she reschedule at a later date? I really don't know what to do.

  5. At what point will Obama's 'fans' admit he has contributed quite a bit (if not equally as much) to the Dem infighting as well? He si no saint, Steven, no matter what you personally think.

McCain will beat Obama in November.

He has contributed to it, but it's kind of funny that you included "if not equally as much." Sounds like you're drinking some of the Clintons' kool-aid.

    I rank them:

    Obama

    McCain

    Hillary

I don't plan to vote for any of them, but I really can't see any situation in which I would vote for Hillary.

Then your rank is moot.

How so? If it came down to it, it's quite possible that I will vote for Obama if Dr. Paul decides to drop out. However, if he dropped out and Hillary got the nomination, I'd probably vote for Nader.

Well if you had said that initially, then I would have replied differently. But you didn't - you said you wouldn't vote for any.

You actually quoted me, then you add your own words, twist it, and voila!

  6. Have you considered that BO is more electable than Billary? You point out that his supporters tend to be swing voters (you had a much more cynical description, of course) like it is a bad thing. That's the biggest thing the DNC should even look at. The people that are voting for Billary are typically staunch democrats who will vote for a D, whereas Obama's supporters are shiftier and will more likely vote for the candidate. That seems to make for a + on his side of general election votes.

He's exciting more than the core democratic base, which is something that she doesn't do.

  8. Milla Jovovich is hot, so is the Indian chick.....but Fiona Apple wins:

On a side note, this thread makes me yearn for that new car smell.

She looks like a crack head  All peoples tastes are different I suppose.

Have you ever met a real crackhead? I know quite a few and none of them look anything like that.

  10. Oh....P.S. the letter I sent to Paul Novak back in November...certified mail ......well guess what....I got a reply informing me they have fixed the problems at VSC......:unsure: and they are AVERAGING about 60-90 days to process a I129F......and apoligized for the delays......and Oh by the way you were approved on February 3 a short 251 days after submitting the petition :blink:

If the interview goes well, we'll be at 244 days when she gets the VISA.

  11. I don't plan to vote for any of them, but I really can't see any situation in which I would vote for Hillary.

Maybe I could vote for her under sniper fire.......

her receiving or you receiving that sniper fire?

Me. Hillary has enough sniper fire to deal with. I heard that just last week her flight landed in Boise under heavy sniper fire.

  12. Sure - and in other news there was a piece today claiming that McCain is associated with numerous current and former corporate lobbyists.

If the idea here is that the general election will somehow be easier on Hillary, I think that's rather laughable.

All this "Ooh he can't take the criticism" stuff seems rather hysterical and removed from reality.

Just as Shakespeare wrote, "There goes Brutus, lean and hungry", Obama is an ambitious politician and it will be no surprise that he can take a load of critism.

The real question is , can the voters including his wavering fans take it?

If, indeed, the majority of his "fan base" are people who are that naiive about what he stands for. I'm not sure that they are.

A good percentage of his fans are "Independents'' and disillushioned Republicans...

And don't forget, they are the ones who elected GWB not once, but twice.

Sure - and they'll elect McCain before Hillary.

    I rank them:

    Obama

    McCain

    Hillary

I don't plan to vote for any of them, but I really can't see any situation in which I would vote for Hillary.

  13. A good percentage of his fans are "Independents'' and disillushioned Republicans...

Abd don't forget, they are the wons who elected GWB not once, but twice.

I sure wouldn't want to be one of the disillushioned wons you're talking about.

  14. " None of them is linked to Obama "

    Enough said. Next?

Obama could not have reached where he is now, without multifarious links among whom some are patently nefarious...

But the voters are responsible for what Obama has reached where he is now. How can you say he could not have reached where he is now? Did he do anything against the law to win more popular votes, delegates, states than his opponent?

Of course he did, Hillary is incapable of losing fair and square.

  15. I would never want to "catch" Lindsay cheating. Outside of the horror of being cheated on, I really wouldn't need a possible assault and battery charge on my record. Finding out would be different. If I was seeing it happen, I would probably snap.

  16. That's every weekend on the Amite River. Needless to say, there's no shortage of crappy, light beer.

yes the type of people that prefer quantity of beer over quality. I was going to say what type of beer my stepdad drinks but I asked hubby cos I thought it was busch light and hubby said I don't know if it's busch but it tastes like it was found in a bush

There's nothing like Natural Light to make you want a good beer.

  17. I worked at an outsourcer two years ago and had access to all kinds of records (insurance-related) that I never should have had access to (as in, the end customer wouldn't have been happy if he/she knew I did).

None of this is surprising. All data has to be stored somewhere and all data stores will need some low-level peons like myself with at least read-only access. Sh#t will get read. You can audit all reads and maintain a trail but that won't stop people. It didn't stop us.

Ha! I knew it! I f***ing knew it! All this time, you had access to VISA information. I'm voting for Hillary now!

The information I had access to was way cooler. I know of a few bigshot politicians with New England homes that have leaky basements :innocent:

Does that make you a republican?

Let's just say....... I understand why certain baaahstun area pols are so cranky all the time.

Are you implying that TK has a leaky bottom? He does always seem to be straining to keep from s****ing himself at every State of the Union address.

  18. there is a thing here every august on the ohio river called ski day. all I can say is wow. I went once with my friend whose parents have a boat. never again. so full of the trashiest people I have ever seen in my life. my stepdad thinks it's amazing (he is trashy)
