Hello. I have a peculiar circumstance and I am wondering if anyone could assist with advice. My fiancé is scheduled to be interviewed in December and I would love to be there to support him and to spend Christmas with he and his family, however, I signed a job offer for a new position, starting in February 2020 and would like to quit my current position before going to Jamaica. I have a considerable amount of savings, not the federal poverty limit amount, but definitely more than enough to cover our expenses before starting my new position. Do you think me quitting before his interview will cause an issue at his interview or after?
