How should I go about extending our NOA2? Do I need to do it or does my Fiancée?
-
Where is it possible to find our new case number (we're on packet 3). Does the letter that we received from the NVC have this information?
-
sorry another question:
Question 10 for the sponsor: does she keep it the same as mine? it currently states on mine:
Name:Ann Delcamp (Filing now with I-129F petition) Relationship: Fiancee Date Submitted:05/14/2006
P.s. Thanks for the quick responses

And did you write any information in the 3 lines after the intend?
-
On question 11, "I __ intend __ do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in itme 3."
Which do I check? I mean I'm intending to have joint everything with her... does it matter what I check? Could the "wrong" answer mean denial? Please help, and also help for my co-sponsor (same question).

quick question about packet 3, my fiancé recieved 4 forms, 2 ds156, ds156k, ds157 <now what's some info on these... she can't really figure out how to answer some of the questions... i've seen links for an online version of ds156 and told her about that, but what's up with the other two forms? is there a question by question tutorial on these?

so would you think a person that accepted my fiancé as a foreign exchange student would qualify as close? i believe soo
p.s. sorry if i'm continuing on, on one subject

thank you so much, also one more question, does the co-signer have to be one of my relatives or can it be anyone?
-
Can someone help me out,
I'm filing the Affidavit of Support, and i realize to get a co-signer, i need my co-signer to fill one out also. my question is:
question 3 i put my fiancé's name, but for my co-signer do they put my name, or her name also?? (or both) and also is it possible to have more than one co-signer? Could someone also please tell me what the requirements are at the moment for the income, i believe it's 125% of the federal poverty limit, but if someone knows the exact # that'd be great!! thank you all so much!!!

Hello everybody, Ann and I just received our NOA2 on Oct. 8th. Well you see for my birthday Ann's mother decided to get her a plane ticket to come visit me here in America for a birthday present well you see she's been here since Sept. 27th, and is scheduled to leave the 7th of Dec. Does anyone see any problem with that and us receiving NOA2? Also I've searched the forums and all looking for answers, I'm sure they're posted somewhere, but I cannot find them... I'm wondering because I am currently a student working P/T at K•B Toys and only making $7.15/hr, does anybody see a problem with my affidavit of support? Will they understand that I am currently a student, and that Ann will also become a student upon her arrival? Also if it is possible could anyone who has went through the U.S. Embassy in France please help me out with what she can expect as far as questions at her interview? Any links, info, or generally anything would help my cause, but in the end at the moment I'm so relieved that she is here for me to hold for a while, we were only separated 9 months since her last visit, but everybody here can understand the pleasure. Please, any information would be a great help. Thank you.

Hello there, I'm currently freaking out beyond belief... I'm in the process of waiting on my NOA2, i received my NOA1 in May. I was wondering if I were to write to my state rep, what would I ask for? You see my fiancé is currently doing basically nothing in France, with no hopes, and it's killing both me and of course her. I'm just looking for any bit of information, of course the telephone contact is no help and it just makes me depressed. So if anyone could help me on what i need to ask of the representative please let me know. Thanks.

I was just wondering how all of you knew things like when they recieved it, and such? did you get the confirmation thing at the post office? and also i sent my application out on the 14th of may and when should i be expecting anything, and what would it be?

Thanks for all the info, and sorry for not adding a timeline. Never knew about them. *updated

I came across this post in the processing time thread on ***removed***:
"Look I don't know about others, but mine took only 7 weeks. I applied in May 2006 and I got it approved in July 2006. The only thing I can tell you is that we wrote an email to the district representative, to speed up the process."
So in this email to the district rep what would you include? Any help would be appreciated.
Btw nice site, ima new user and just wanted to say hi, and thanks in advance.
