  1. Has anyone had any experiences with sputum tests in El Salvador? My husband has been on a TPS for the past 18 years and was told he needed to go back to El Salvador to adjust his status. He had his medical exam scheduled for 11/4/19 and his interview scheduled for 11/18/19. At his medical exam he was told he was required to have a TB sputum test done. Because of this they cancelled his interview appointment. The doctor told him it would take 2 months to get the results back. As soon as he got to the front the ladies there told him that it takes 2.5-3months to get results. I did some digging and found the guidelines for immigration panel doctors on the CDC’s page. On there it clearly states 8weeks for results. He spoke to the clinic yesterday since 1/8/20 will be his 8th week, and the lady that answered the phone again told him 2.5-3months (may have been the same person from before). I have gone through so many threads and have found that everyone says theirs was 8 weeks, but I have not found anyone from El Salvador that posted their experience. I would think that everywhere would go by the same CDC guidelines, but- what do I know?! Any insight anyone can give is appreciated!
