Hi everyone,
we have our interview at the Casablanca consulate in two weeks. I have co-sponsor who makes over 100,000 annually. We have pay stubs, employment verification and 3 years of tax returns. My concern is that her account balance and average is fairly low due to expenses compared to her income. How much will the consulate take this into consideration? Please anyone with experience in the Moroccan consulate specifically please let me know.

Hi I have a question about the cosponsor for the I-134 form. I am the petitioner and a student and do not make enough money to sponsor my fiance. My mom will be our joint sponsor. Does both the petitioner and the joint sponsor need to fill out an I-134 form and provide evidence? Or is it only required by the joint sponsor?

Yes, I've been emailing twice a week for the last month to the this email address IVCasablanca@state.gov. This is correct? I lived in Morocco for 3 years with my partner and just recently came back to the US. We just expected to have heard back by now.

was your interview at the casablanca consulate ever scheduled?

I hope your petition was approved! When did NVC forward your documents to the consulate? We've been waiting to hear since July.

Hello!
Our case was sent to from NVC to the consulate in casablanca on July 9th. We still haven't heard anything from the consulate. I'm wondering if anyone else is waiting to hear back and if there is any news about what is going on ? I've even reached out to my state rep who contacted the consulate over a month ago and received no response. Any info would be really appreciated.
Birth Certificate- NVC step
in Middle East and North Africa

Hi everyone,
My husband is applying for AOS. We received a RFE because they didn't accept the birth certificate we provided.
We submitted the quarter page green birth certificate with both of his parents names dated for December 2019 that we used for his interview at the consulate for his K1 visa. We translated the document via immitranslate. Now we are trying to figure out what the problem was with what we submitted originally. We are reaching out to the people who translated the original document in Morocco for his interview and they are going to send us a PDF of it.
My question is, did they reject the birth certificate because of the date? Does this birth certificate expire? We're hoping they will accept this new translation but it will be from the time of his interview and dated for December 2019 as well.
Thank you for any help!!
