I contacted the NVC on Feb 19 about changing embassies and received the response below -- is this their actual reply or an automated message that everyone is getting right now in light of COVID? I am wondering whether I have to submit my request again. For context, I am requesting the embassy be changed from France (where I was born) to Switzerland where I am a resident. In past posts on this forum I noticed it took people around 2 weeks to get their embassies changed, I am close to 6 weeks now without any action on this matter.

Nope, as long as all documents are listed as submitted when you click on "Fee Payment" in CEAC.

Mine says the same thing, apparently the check status thing is unreliable.

If you're on a mac, I found that it works much better using Google Chrome.
