    I found that things dont seem to sell as well on Craigslist,but I do think Ebay was more popular in Germany as it is here in the US.

    Of course it was more popular.. check out the mailing prices in USA... it's higher than the stuff you bought

    Hey Sandy, as a former Airline Agent I know that we always advised our customers to have the same name on Airlineticket and on the Passport. If that dont match they might denied the boarding.

    Hello everyone,

    I'm in the progress of filling out all my AOS forms, but I am unsure as to what my A# is. On the back of my I-94 it says A# , followed by an 8-digit number. On my K-3 Visa I have another 8-digit number printed in red, but it doesn't say A# anywhere. The two numbers are completely different, too.

    In addition, I haven't received my NOA2s in the mail for the I-130 or I-129F... I don't know what to do about that. : (

    use the A# on the back of the I-94...and i am pretty sure that this NR is also on your Visa in black ink.

    Frage zum Reisepass. Muss man immer persoenlich zum Konsulat um einen neuen Reisepass zu beantragen? Oder geht das auch per Mail?

    Hallo

    So...lese nun schon einige Zeit diese Seiten und nun hab auch ich endlich etwas zu schreiben....

    Ich bin jetzt seit dem 01.Sep hier in Washington State...habe am 15.Sep geheiratet und gestern meinen Driver License bekommen...ohne Test oder sonstiges... brauchte nur meinen deutschen FS vorzeigen, einen kleinen Sehtest machen und $45.00 bezahlen...das war es !! :dance::dance::dance:

    Hatte heute nachmittag beim Honorarkonsulat in Portland angerufen , wegen Neuausstellung eines Reisepasses mit dem neuen Namen... zum Glueck...die machen es naemlich nur noch ein paar Wochen ...danach werden alle Paesse n u r noch in San Francisco ausgestellt und man muss persoenlich dort hin.... sollte also noch jemand von Euch einen haben und nicht grade in der Naehe vom Generalkonsulat in San Francisco wohnen... Dann also vorwaerts Kapelle!!!

    Fuer die Social Security Card wird neuerdings auch die Geburtsurkunde benoetigt...(just for Info falls das noch nicht zur Sprache kam hier)

    Ansonsten... "Alles wird gut"

    Yes, Frankfurt was fast for us too. Infact our interview is coming up soon now.

    I'm flying to Hamburg on Thursday and the following Friday we've got our interview in Frankfurt.

    Will report back about it afterward.

    now i have a question as well....maybe im blind, to old or just blond but i cant find it

    * Depending on which U.S. airport you fly into (NY JFK) some will issue a temporary 90 day work authorization if asked for. If issued, the employment authorization ends on the day the K-1 expires. You will have to file for an EAD when (or after) you file for AOS. If you do not receive your EAD before your K-1 expires you must stop working until it is received.

    Does somebody know where else i can get these temporary 90day work authorization. Is it just JFK or are there more APTs ??

    I am going to Seattle. Does someone has expirience??

    Weiss jemand von Euch ob man diesen Stempel ausser in JFK auch noch an anderen Flüghäfen bekommt??

    Ich werde in Seattle einreisen. Hat da schon jemand Erfahrungen gemacht??

    Wäre schön wenn sich jemand meldet.

    My husband will be coming at the end of the month from London with our dog, Rudi. I have the option of a direct flight, which is £700 or a flight that stops in Detroit and then goes on to Minneapolis. That one is for £343. Obviously there is a big money difference, and we are not rich. I am wondering if anyone has immigrated with a pet and had their connecting flight within the US. I would assume that my husband would have to go through all the POE stuff in Detroit and he would have to recheck his things, which means he would have to recheck Rudi.

    I am not really sure, so any info would help!!

    why dont you get a flight from Northwest Airlines from LGW to MSP directly... that will cost only 384 GBP .. check www.ebookers.com... i insert LGW-MSP 30May and Return 24Jun......Return flight are always cheaper (Most of the time)..

    and your Husband and Rudi will be there in only 08h55min.
