Guys! I got my J 1 visa and returned home on time. Broke no rules. Then next year I applied for this visa again and found out I was subject to 2 year home residency rule. Is applying for the J1 visa while having not yet fulfilled the 2 year rule considered a violation of the visa terms or not? I just got denied the second time applied and my previous visa is stamped with 'cancelled without prejudice'

Guys, can I use my petition photo, which is 6 months old, in my ds 160 as well? No changes in my appearance since then. Or should I go get another new photo taken?

Hi! Guys, please help how should write my mother's name in the ds 160? In our petition I put her maiden name sice we were told so by Rapid Visa. So now in the ds 160 should I put her maiden name as in our petition or as it is in her passport and all her documents? In my birth certificate it is her current passport surname.

Hi everyone! We got our NOA 2 in September and still haven't heard anything from NVC. It's been one and a half months already. We have emailed the NVC (still haven't replied) and tried calling them several times but there's no answer. We're scared that when they finally reply and send something it's gonna be too late since there are only 4 months to do everything and the NOA 2 expiration date is in January. Guys, please help. Who had the same situation? What should we do?  Thank you in advance!
