  1. I have not posted here in a while. Happy New Year to everyone. I have a slight problem. My wife and myself are about to file our AOS, but to our disbelieve we lost her medical record from St Lukes in Manila. I am worried because she is about 6 months pregnant and I am worried she as to take all her vaccinations again at a local Civil surgeon office. Is it possible to ( this might be wishful thinking) to have St Lukes either fax or email us a copy of her vaccination report? As anyone experience this situation before? I have always trusted the good advice I have gotten from this forum. All responses will greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Again,

  2. I have not posted on this forum in a long while. Well my baby is here with me now and very happy . We already got married before the 90 day deadline. We have slight problem. My wife is pregnant and for some reason she as to do another medical. We have the vaccination report from St Lukes and for some reason she did not get a Tetanus shot and a Veracilla shot ( I could be wrong on the spelling) Two of the vaccination shot will be harmful for our baby since she is still in her first trimester of pregnancy. I am so worried because our deadline to submit the paperwork to the USCIS is September 12th. I don't know what to do. Will my wife get deported back to her country. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

  3. Well after 1 full year and many delays. I got the good news today, that she passed her interview with flying colors. It as been a very long and stressful journey. I guess over persistence finally paid off. She said the interview only lasted about 10 minutes. And the staff at the Manila embassy was very helpful. They told her the visa takes about 1-2 weeks to arrive at her home address. I guess the next step for her is to take the CFO class???? We are hoping for her to enter the US by May 31st or June 5th......Thank you everybody who as helped us in journey. God Bless.

WOW......So many positive responses.....I am just amazed at this forum. We are all strangers and yet we all support each other. This is such a wonderful and positive website....Yes it was a long and challenging journey but it soon will be over. Good bless all of you and thanks for nice words.

  5. I know I have not posted here in a while. But all is going good so far. My babe's interview with the embassy is on May 12th and her medical is on May 5th.

She lives in Butuan and the local Cebu Pacific office is over charging her to travel to Manila for the interview. Its about 2000 pesos cheaper to buy the ticket

online via Cebu Pacific Air. My question is that when i traveled last September with Cebu Pacific, they only wanted to see my passport and e-ticket...and that

was it. So could I save about 2000 pesos and buy the ticket on cebu Pacific website and email my girl the iternary. Anybody familaiar with Cebu Pacific's

travel policies, please let me know what to do ASAP. Thanks and god bless.

How much was the Cebu office charging? And what's the price online?

The online price was 5303 Pesos with taxes roundtrip and the Cebu Pacific office wanted about 7400 pesos...Thats just crazy.

  7. I have not posted in a while because my Gf has been trying to get her Birth Certificate so that she could get her passport. Well the good news is that she just got her Birth Certificate and is in the process of applying for her passport. Her medical and interview should be in May. My question is what does she have to do to get ready for the medical and interview? What fees need to be paid for the medical and interview? She did receive a package from the embassy. It was a couple of DS forms which she as already filled out. Oh by the way she lives in Butuan, All responses will be greatly appreciated. God bless.

  8. Well people my Gf just emailed me and said she just got the packet from the US Embassy in Manila. Her interview date is on November 29th and the interview is on December 6th. I am so worried now because she is in the process with the NSO to get her Birth Certificate so that she can get her passport. So my question is how can we go about rescheduling the medical and interview. Can I call or email the US Embassy in Manila to do this? Please let me know what are the steps to reschedule the medical and Interview. I have case Manila case number that came with the letter I received from the NVC back in September....I need to know what to do ....She only as 6 days until the medical......

    Thanks Aagin

ok interview date for nov 29 or medical ? does she have problem in NSO bc ? u can call the manila embassy to resched her but the resched will take 2 to 3 months depend on wat reason , so its better to expedite everything if u can guys , try to call the 301 - 2000 local 5184 or 5185 ask them wat u can do in ur situation .

Well according to the packet she received from the embassy. The medical is on November 29th and the interview is on December 6th. The problem with her birth certificate is that her last name is spelled incorrectly. So she has to get this corrected with the NSO. I am in panic mode now. I really did not know there was issues with her birth certificate until the end of last month. If i have to wait 2 - 3 months...Then I have no choice... My question is there a number I could call to get her appointment rescheduled? Or is it better for her to do the rescheduling herself.. Please let me know guys...I need to call my baby tonight and let her know what to do....Thanks for all your help.

try to call the nub i gave you 301-2000 local 5184 and 5185

  11. Hey boys and girls...Its me again...The crazy Texan with mucho problems....Anyways here is whats going on. My fiance is having problems getting her passort in time for her interview in Manila. Well according to NVC here in the US, I received the letter on 11/07/07 that they forward my case to the Manila embassy. So I guess, people with similar timelines have there interviews as early as the first week of December. The problem is that my fiance is now in the process of getting her Birth Certificate corrected (because of a misspelling)through the NSO. She said that she should get her Birth Certificate on the third week of December. After that she has to travel to Cebu to get her CFO certificate then get her passport. So I am thinking she probably wont get her passport maybe at the end of December or even early January.....My question is that can we delay the medical and interview because of the situation with the passport...What can we do...Please any response will be greatly appreciated.

  12. Ok. Its me again. I was wondering if I am able to buy the ticket for my fiancee from a online Travel agency. The reason why I ask is because she lives in a very Rural province in the Philippines and the closest Travel Agency is miles away. I found found some pretty cheap flights that fly non stop to Houston from Manila, via China Southern Airlines. Let me know if i am able to buy the ticket online for her. Thanks Again. She actually lives in Butuan City. Any response will be greatly appreciated.

  13. Hey thanks for all the positive feedback on my last post. My fiancee lives in the Philippines and she is in the process of getting her passport. The only problem is that her family name is misspelled by a single letter on her Birth certificate. What is the fastest way for her to get her passport. She actually lives in Butuan City. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks for all your help.

  14. Hey people, I already received the NOA2 approval. I was wondering if its possible for my fiancee to go to the interview in Manila without her passport. The reason why I am asking is because there is misspelling on her Birth certificate. And she is getting the run around in obtaining her passport. She lives in the Philippines. Is there anything she can do get her passport quicker. Also can she do her medical and interview without a passport? She is in panic mode now. What can we do?? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  15. Ok. Thanks for all your recent responses to my last post. Well, I received my NAO2 on September 29th. I just recently completed my I-134 Affidavit of Support form and all the necessary documents I am suppose to mail to my fiancee. Well I had a few questions:

    1. I am able to buy my fiancee an airline ticket? If I can name some website where I could buy her the ticket with my credit card and send her the e-ticket information.

    2. After I mail her the Affidavit package, does she have to do anything special.

    3. When does my fiancee get her passport? Does she get it before her embassy interview?

All responses will be greatly appreciated.

  16. Ok ladies and gents. I just got back from the Philippines last week and noticed that I finally received my NAO2 approval. I noticed on the letter it had an expiration date of January 17th 2008. Well I am gathering all the necessary information like my I-134 and the necessary docs to send to my babe in the Philippines. I noticed on the K1 guide on this website, it said I had to send the original I-129F to my fiancee. That might be a problem because I only have a copy, the original was sent to the USCIS back with May 2007. What am I going to do now...Well I had a few more questions to ask you experts:

    1. How many years of tax returns do I have to submit with the I-134 and how many pay stubs and also W2s ( I am a W2 employee)

    2. Do I have to send my fiancee a certified copy of my divorce decree for her interview.

    3. Do I have to send A copy of the entire I-129f package to my fiancee.

    4. Do I have to Send her an original letter affirming your desire to marry my fiancee again

    5. What if we do not get everything completed before the expiration date on NAO2?? What is going to happen?

The reason why I am asking is because the immigration place that is helping me do the paper work said all I need to send my fiancee is the I-134 form and 2 paystubs, plus 1 year of tax returns. They also said I need a letter of employment and a letter from my bank talking about my account balances. So I need to know what am I suppose to send fiancee??? Help Please

  17. I had a quick question my fellow comrades. On April 24th I mailed off my I-129F package, and on May 10th( according to my bank statement) my check for $170 was cashed. Now I was able to obtain my receipt number from the back of the check ( which I am assuming it starts with WACxxxxxx). I used the same receipt nimber and logged on to the USCIS website and this is what is said about my case:

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On May 7, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

The problem I am having is that I have not received my NOA1 notice yet.....And according to the USCIS website they received my petition on May 7th. Its almost 2 weeks from that date now....What should i do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks Again.

    Stephen
