    if you want a real fresh milk - there are dairy farms there that sell fresh milk - as in directly from the cow..u need to boil it first though :) I think u can find Nestle Fresh milk....I prefer bear brand than the milk here in USA. I dont like drinking cold milk in the morning. Gusto ko mainit na bear brand :)

    It doesnt matter daw kung ikaw ay AB, BS MD or may PhD kasi lahat naman...pupunta din sa RIP ...peace :)

    makisali din...BS medical technology....kakahire lang :) ang saya..saya :) para sa mga naghahanap ng work...just apply everywhere...and pray. In God's time makakahanap din kayo..naka 30 establishments and hospitals din ako ng apply sali na mga walmart, hyvee, etc, etc bago ako naka land sa hospital job. Be patient lang at tiyaga - pag may tiyaga, may nilaga :)

    Well, I checked the USCIS website and checked my AOS status and found this message:

    Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

    Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

    On February 17, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

    - And today I am expecting a call from a hospital for a job interview. I am praying that hopefully I get the job. Am so happy for the AOS even though it took them so long to approve it :)

    Roaming - allows you to send and receive text messages from your home country even though you are already outside the service area of the network.

    if you want to receive text from pinas (free of charge for you and 1 peso/text for your relatives in pinas) activate your "smart telecommunication simpack" by

    "Just text "ROAM ON" and send to 333. Roaming activation will occur within one (1) hour. " (link)

    in my case, i receive text messages from home using my roaming activated smart simpack on a tri-band phone from pinas, and i send them back text message from chikka - free :)

    see smart telecommunications website for more details if you are using smart or Globe if you are using globe. :)

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if a cell phone from RP will work in the US? I have the model numbers from Shirs cell and my local AT&T phone store says it will work on their systems. They looked up the model and said that one of their SIMM's would work with it.

    Has anyone made a conversion with a RP phone?

    Hubby bought a celphone from pinas - it worked well here in USA. we bought an open line, tri-band celphone. It works on american sim as well as with "Smart/Globe" sim pack (roaming activated).

    hubby rented the movie from redbox. we both watched it and we both can see in the movie how we fight sometimes. For those who wanted to see more inspiring movies like that...try to watch the love comes softly series. We still have to see the 4th and the 5th.

    I know there are some couple who are not very nice in these thread...maybe they dont have enough love in their hearts for others or for them selves..you see, we cannot give what we dont have. Let us be nice to them...just like the saying "be kind to unkind people, they needed it the most."
