Your visas may have been issued by mistake.   Derivative beneficiaries are only eligible for visas if the primary applicant is eligible.

Have you contacted the US Embassy about this?

We called the helpline twice. They said that the case of primary applicant is still under processing while the rest of family members are on final processing.

  2. We are applicants of F4 USA immigrant visa. Our interview was held on 23 August 2019. The interview was smooth but at the end, the CO asked for a marriage certificate. We had Nikkah nama on the spot. The CO gave us a 221g slip and asked to submit the additional document. Our case then went into Adminstrative Processing. We submitted the requested document on 18 Sept 2019. Since then, our status date of the primary applicant changed on 21 October 2019. After that, on 22 October, it changed for all the family members and the primary applicant. After a few days, it changed again on 25 October 2019. On 30th of October, all the family members got their visa issued except the primary applicant.

Primary applicant case was last updated on 29 October 2019 with status being Administrative Processing.

We can not go to USA without the primary applicant.

So why was our vissa issued? and the primary applicant still in administrative processing?

We still havent got any update or email about our issued passport.

I know It's frustrating. I would say wait at least 60 days from the submission of documents then contact the embassy. Our status is REFUSED since our interview it's been 4 months already nothing yet. We have sent so many emails but no response.

We got our visa ISSUED today Alhamdulilah.

but the primary applicant is still in Administrative Processing.

I hope you get update on your case soon.

  4. I have sent three emails for inquiries but they did not reply me. Only thing that was soothing in these two months were those three updates that happened last week. I hope every thing turns out well.

What does it mean?  Is it a good sign?

How long it will it take to get visa issued?

Our Passports are still with the US Embassy Islamabad.
