  1. Hi all, hope it was a good thanksgiving!; I have a question regarding the processing of the I-751 package. I followed the evidence package from a fellow user of this forum (thank you @CookieCat !!! ) and we came up with around 120 pages of evidence in our names (cars apartments, benefits, etc etc). But now here is the issue. I am scared there’s going to be a problem, as my green card expires on 12/05. I recently got surgery and we moved on 11/01 so we were recommended to wait until having our new address to receive the documents in our current address. I sent the package on Friday the 22nd of November and it was received the 25. I received the confirmation and the return receipt stamped by the Arizona office we had to file the package to, but the check has not been cashed yet nor received a notification and I don’t want issues with the application or that I’m going to be denied for ‘filing late’ even when I have the usps proof they received it almost 2 weeks before the expiration date. Any thoughts? Any suggestions will be well received! Thank you guys!

If I were you, just to be on the safe side, I would file both.  It never hurts to have a proper paper trail for these kinds of things.

what do you think I should do with the addresses though? I wont hae enough time to change all the addresses on everything. Should I include an amendment or an explanation like it, or will the AR-11 take care of it ?

  3. Hi All!,

My green Card expires on 12/05, after the 2 year conditional time. We have already gathered al the documents, from financials, photo sessions with family, family portraits, etc ; and we are actually pretty confident on all the amount of evidence we have gathered. But the situation is this: we finally found a new bigger place, and we are moving in on november first. I did not File the I-751 yet because I just got surgery a couple weeks ago, so I wanted to be better before checking all the documents, but now we are moving and we need to file this soon. I tried consulting with USCIS and they told me only my husband needs to file the I-865 form but that If I file my form withing the 10 days of the move, I dont need to file th AR-11 Myself, as the application to remove the conditions will be enough to update the addresses. Do you guys have any advice on how should I procceed? I have the Form filled with the new address and copies of the leases of both places also.

    Thank you guys!
