I forgot my manners. Thank you for the replies. One bit I read was that they won't schedule my interview until the FOIA is fulfilled. Any truth to this as far as you know?

I guess it would depend on how long the delay is. I'm getting conflicting info. That's why I came here to get more info. I'm assuming my A-file is pretty straightforward. Family-based petition. General provision. Entered the US 5 years ago. Do you think my file is undigitized in a limestone cave? 😂 For the N400, so far, biometrics are done but the interview hasn't been scheduled.

I was just told I should have requested it before submitting my application. Not criticizing but you're making it sound like it's a bad idea. What are the possible issues if I request it now?

I know I should have requested a FOIA before submitting my N400 application, but I learned it was a thing too late. My application is still within normal processing times. Will requesting a FOIA for my full A-file push my N400 application to the back of the line?
