Why would you when you know the second isn't valid

Well I want to be upfront and provide the most complete information as possible to avoid the risk that they find out the information later and get intense about it. I figure its best to provide more information than less, through that may not be true if the info is potentially confusing

  2. I have a similar question... I will file my I-130 via direct consular filing in 2 weeks, and I also made the mistake of thinking that getting a US marriage license would be convenient even though I was already legally married in Mexico. I understand that the first marriage is the valid one and therefore our marriage date is the first (Mexican) date, but should I declare the other marriage on my form as a clarifying note?

Straight from the Mexico uscis site.

For all other applications and petitions that you submit to this office, you must pay the fees to the U.S.. Embassy cashier in U.S.. dollars, U.S credit cards, or U.S. debit cards only. If you pay with a credit or debit card, the cardholder must appear in person.

Thank you! I'd seen that info but wanted to be 100% sure that it was accurate (I'm a bit paranoid!!) I also wrote them an e-mail to triple confirm and they already replied confirming that they also accept:

    • US debit card
    • US or Mexican credit card
    • USD

In case anyone else is reading this...
