  I did hear from NVCResearch, but nothing really worth sharing. They confirmed that they checked with USCIS and my case was approved & sent to the NVC, but they haven't received the case..... and they're sorry. Basically the same stuff I have been hearing. I don't even bother with the idea of "escalating" because I am pretty sure there's nothing we could do to make the process go faster.
  
  I have tried everything I could, and I realized all we could do at this point is basically wait and pray.
