  1. @missileman -- he's never been removed from the US, but when he attempted to come into the US from Manchester (UK) in May of 2018 (I believe) he was questioned by an immigration officer and recommended not to fly into the US until he got a different visa (different from his ESTA). He was told he didn't break the law, but he didn't try to get back into the US after that... no official paper work for denied entry was issued, but I'm unfamiliar with that process, so I can't tell if he was actually 'denied entry'.

  2. Hi, new to the forum. We started our process for a CR1 visa for my husband shortly after we got married at the end of March 2019. We had our visa interview on the 30th of September (Monday of this week-- four days ago). My husband was told they would have to process his application further at the interview, seemingly because he had done volunteer work (unpaid) on and off for three months on his ESTA in 2018 (that is how we met). No further documents were requested and there has been no update on the CEAC website. It just says 'Administrative Processing' as of 30 September 2019.

I know we just have to wait and see what happens, but I'm driving myself crazy reading other people's experiences. Any chance anyone has insight or thoughts about the outcome for this particular situation?
