it depends which taxi you're going to ride, if it's an airport taxi the rate is around Php400-450 but if you will get the regular taxi then just ask for meter and you'll just end up paying like 100 the most but it's hard to get one

try to consider also panglao island nature resort its a 15 mins ride from tagbilaran

i travelled alone with my baby twice, one when she was 7 mos old via PAL and recently when she's 2 via EVA...PAL attendants were so nice and helpful since it was just me and my baby, i find PAL more friendly and helpful compare to eva, like when i asked for a water they even washed my baby's bottle..as for advice just bring atleast 10-12 diapers with you, 2 pair of clothes, milk (if you have a milk dispenser that will be great),cookies or baby food and his/her favorite blanky or toy..relax and don't stress out, happy trip

OK, We are planning to be married on December 18th (GOD Willing) and we get her visa in time... In Gatlinburg Tennessee. And we want to go back to the Philippines for another wedding ceremony after AOS. Hopefully Dec 18th 2010.
I know that being a K-1 recipient we must marry within 90 days of entry into the US.. and we have to have a legal Marriage licence.
We would also like to have a legal Philippine marriage licence as well.... is this at all possible?
Any thoughts, Facts?
Thanks.
D&D
hoping to be document qualified soon so we can get our interview date set....
hi just want to share that we did this too, got married here in the US last june 30, 2007 and also married in the Philippines last may 30,2008.We didnt file our wedding there at PI coz they'll be a problem with our wedding date.We reported our marriage here at LA Consulate, so it's already in NSO files and we can request for marriage license there. The wedding in PI was just a celebration and also for my family to witness our wedding because they didnt able to attend our wedding here in the US..Hope this help

hi..maybe around $400-$500...thats just my estimate...
i think $50-$100 is more than enough for just a 2 days stay in manila for an interview if the plane fare and hotel was already taken care of

Fiancee might have been sent for a psychological evaluation? I dont know how much are the fees. *shrugs*
I've known her for 5 years and she's very honest...that's why i want to know what the hell is going on, If there is really this OUTRAGEOUS fee increase out of the blue. I'm planning to call St. Luke Extension Clinic and I want to hear straight from them. I still believe and hope she's telling the truth...I think she is i'm 95% sure...But there is this 5% doubt that's telling me how come I haven't heard anything about this increase..and it says on the website the current fee is $213.35, how come she paid 15,454 pesos. $100 discrepancy. It is really not about the money....It is why she paid that much, while others paid 10,400 something.
why dont u ask her first about the $100 discrepancy, and then if she really tell u that's what the medical exam fee then that's the time that u have to contact the st lukes
like have her scan and email the receipt? to make sure... or maybe she just rounded of her bills while staying in manila... miscellaneous fee and all...

i came back to PI last september and didnt lock my bag.it was just me and my 7mos old baby who travelled that time,i just handcarried a baby bag with me since my baby was too heavy plus i had to bring her car seat with us.I took pal from los angeles to manila...when i got home and checked my luggage, my camera was no longer there...the camera bag was still there.Good thing that i put my baby's clothes on top of my laptop and didnt get it..i reported it to pal right away and after 1 week got a letter from pal saying that they will not take it as their responsibility since i already brought my luggage at home..oh well who's stupid do u think will check their luggage at the manila airport
when we came back to US, ive learned my lesson and locked my luggage this time..they didnt open it, well i put 5 locks on it lol

i'm gonna be having the same prob soon. but the arrangement will be a little different since my husband will pick us up. i'm due to give birth on Monday and as soon as we get the baby's CRBA and passport approved, we'd fly to Cali right away. our target month would be november. the baby will be about 6-8weeks by then.
i'm gonna have one carry-on luggage, laptop, visa packet, xray film (on tube), baby bag and a sherpa carrier for my chihuahua. whoa! i can't imagine traveling without my husband.
question: has anyone inquired if PAL has the bulk head seat? i'd try to give them a call tonite or tomorrow to check. then i'll post whatever answer i may get from them. thanks co-VJs.
PAL provide a bassinet but u have to call them and reserve it asap.We went to PI last may and our baby that time was 4 mos old.We didnt had prob, she just slept the whole flight (lax-mla).
I"ll be coming back to PI this sept 4 (lax-mla), and this time just me and the baby. She's now 7 mos old and my problem is i dont think she'll fit on pal bassinet plus she moves around.Im scared that she might fall from the bassinet table if i will fall asleep.Do you think guys that they'll allow me to bring the car seat on the plane?i dont think i can put her on my lap for a 16 hrs flight
