  1. 2 days ago our I-129F application was approved and is now headed to the NVC.

I understand the next step involves scheduling the medical exam and obtaining all the necessary documents for it. However, my fiancée and I are worrying over how she will even find them. She is originally from South Africa but moved to the UK 7 years ago so she can no longer access any medical records from SA. She is currently a student in the UK and is only registered with the campus medical center GP.

Is it possible for her to retreive her medical/vaccination records/summary from the university GP? If not, is there some other method we can go about to make sure she has the sufficient information?

If she can't obtain any vaccination records will she be required to complete all necessary shots again?

    Thanks.

  2. I received the NOA1 today in the mail and discovered my fiancée's country of birth is incorrect and contradicts what I wrote on the application.

I have already sent in a typographical error form on the USCIS website and was informed I should expect a response by Oct. 22.

    Will this suffice?

I also recently called the number on the I-797C form and was told to send a letter with attached supporting documents to the address on the form.

They sent this letter a week ago and since I'm in the UK, sending a letter will take another week, further delaying and presenting potential issues.

Is a letter really necessary? I don't have supporting documents except for my fiancée's passport that states where she was born. I didn't make copies of the I-129F.
