    It depends on the doctor.
The doctor in Rio is the “best” because he is very “mellow” about vaccines and will mark your sheet as complete if you’ve been vaccinated for Td, MMR and flu (if the flu shots are currently available/season). Usually he won’t even ask if you’ve had varicella, he’ll automatically write “varicella history”. Also, he’s whole appointment is very superficial and “easy”.

The other 3 doctors are very strict about Tdap, they’ll “make” you take this shot if you only have the Td one, otherwise they’ll mark your sheet as incomplete. Also, in Brasilia I think, the doctor asks for a blood test to prove you’ve had varicella/been vaccinated.

Furthermore: going to a ‘posto de saúde’ with your vaccination card might not do much, as they’ll say it’s complete according to the Brazilian vaccination calendar - which is different from what CDC requires for immigration purposes.

Thank you so much for your help.

I got the dtpa vaccine this month, from what I read on the embassy website I have all the vaccines up to date now.
I was in doubt about the doctor, but I think I'll opt for Rio de Janeiro anyway.
