As of March 17, the United States Embassy in Bogotá is canceling all non-emergency visa appointments  Please do not come to the Embassy or Applicant Service Center. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time. The MRV fee is valid and may be used for a visa application in the country where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment. To reschedule your appointment for a future date, please visit our website (https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-co/niv), sign in to your user account, select the “Continue” option, and follow the system instructions under the “reschedule appointment” action.

If you have an emergency reason for immediate travel, such as: medical treatment in the United States, and emergency business meeting, or other humanitarian reason, you must first reschedule your original appointment for any available day; then, you may request an emergency appointment by following these instructions: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-co/niv/information/faqs#need_earlier_appt.
