Hi,

  I think you are very lucky if your case is ready for the interview within a month. I started my process in February paid fees and submitted all the documents and in November finally they approved everything. But still haven't received an interview date. So, I think as long as you received the interview notification you should be all set. Just make sure to take all the documents with you at the interview. I would also call NVC to double check if everything is true. Just a food for thought.

I submitted all the documents and NVC approved everything on 11/1. Its been almost 2 months but I haven't heard anything about the interview. The last response I received was that they will let us know when they schedule the interview but no response wasn't received. Please advise if someone has any information. 

I applied for my sister's visa and NVC accepted all the documents and received a message from NVC that documents are qualified for the interview. Can anyone have any idea how long will it take to get the interview date?

Hello Everyone,

                  My sister who applied F4 category for my other sister who lives in Pakistan for her Immigrant visa. This year we started the process and start submitting the documents. My sister who applied for my other sister doesn’t work so she asked me that I should (their brother) sponsor my sister in Pakistan. So, I submitted all the documents NVC were looking for and they accepted those. But later NVC asked us to submit petitioner’s sponsorship documents. So, my sister(petitioner) submitted all the documents and they accepted those too. My sister’s husband will be able to sponsor the family alone and he doesn’t need any other joint sponsor. Now NVC wants me(brother) to add my wife as a household member because initially I submitted my documents as a sponsor so they want me to submit my wife’s financial documents. Now, I am wondering if I submit my wife’s information does that cause more issues. Or is it possible to remove myself from the sponsor list and leave petitioner my sister and her husband as a sponsor. If its possible how can we do that. If there is any sample letter we need to upload to NVC someone can share that would be highly appreciated.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Actually we were not aware of initially so I(brother of Petitioner and Applicant submitted the sponsorship documents. They accepted those but they also request to submit my sister's who was actually a petitioner has to submit the sponsorship documents. So, we did that and NVC approved everything. So, now they want me to add my wife as a household member and submit all of her documents. So, lately the reviewing process is very slow so I was wondering is there any way we can request NVC to take my information off and just Keep my sister's documents as a primary sponsor?

       I need some help with my sister's immigrant visa. Can please anyone suggest if we can delete the sponsor and add a new sponsor? Actually, I initially sponsored my sister's visa but I am not a petitioner and later NVC told us that Petitioner has to be sponsor. So, we submitted all of my sister's documents and they have accepted everything. Now NVC is confused about the sponsorship and they want me add my wife as a household member and submit all the required documents. So, I was wondering Is it possible if I can request NVC to take my name off from the sponsorship list and just keep my sister documents as a primary sponsor? 

Any kind of help will be really appreciated.

Hi Everyone, 

                    I am hoping someone will help me with this. Actually, I have applied for my Sister's Immigrant visa. We have submitted all the required documents and NVC has also accepted those documents. But we received another email where they want us to resubmit the proof of citizenship of Petitioner. We submitted the passport as a proof of citizenship of petitioner. They accepted that too but still need more proof of Citizenship. Can anyone please share if they have similar situation where they want you to submit the proof of citizenship if yes what did you guys submitted or any kind of help will be really appreciated.

I have submitted all the required documents for my sister's immigrant Visa. After 6 weeks of submitting my passport they sent me the email that they have accepted the passport but also asked me to resubmit the same document that they accepted All the required documents were submitted and today I received an email that NVC have accepted my documents but also in ceac messages nvc wants us to resubmit proof of Petitioner's citizenship that we already submitted and nvc accepted that too.
