Update:

I received the letter, and it says that I have an interview next week. It doesn't mention that this is a second interview. Also, it says I should prepare for a language and history test.

Is this normal? Can they redo the exams if you passed them?

Hi everyone, I got a call yesterday from the USCIS office about an interview next week, and they were calling to make sure that I can do it next week. However, I told the agent that I did my interview, and we're waiting for a decision for more than a year and we're told couple of times that they were doing background check. She was surprised at the beginning; then she said that it is another interview. I didn't get any paper yet related to the next interview but today myuscis website changed from interview was scheduled to invalid interview date.
Is this common? Anyone has experience with that? Should I take a lawyer even though i’m 1000% sure I have any legal or background problem?

Same here, interview last September but no update. Did everything called the Senator, Uscis , and sent the Ombudsman Recently but still no change .All what they say Is we are waiting background check !!!

the lawyer asked for 5-8k to go to court . It’s really annoying

I applied in may and had my interview since 3 weeks and decision can't be made during the interview and they didn't ask me for any further documents .

status didn't change and i'm still waiting for any updates.

anyone facing the same issue??

in the form 562 you have the IO name and address of the office , i suggest you send him a mail and get a copy for it. 

If more than 120 days you can talk to a lawyer and go to court or make the lawyer contact them .

Hello Guys , 

I had my interview last week based on 3 years marriage and the interview went well , passed the tests but decision can't be made by the officer. While reading the reviews i discovered that i had to mention that i got a speed ticket before 2 years that i totally forgot about and didn't mention.

What should i do ? Is that the reason for delay or refusal of the application??

Please advise me .
