Hello. I have some fears before filing I 130s . I am a US Citizen and wanted to bring my minor child and husband here. My husband and I have been married for 8 years. Most of our married years was spent in the Philippines and was using his last name especially as his beneficiaries at his job. However, when I came here in the US over 3 years ago. I decided to not change my name because of all the things I needed to go through. Will that affect my petition? Thank you so much!

Do I need to send out all of my documents and proof upon filing the I-130 form? Like, affidavit of support, pictures, affidavit of bonafide marriage etc.
-
Will my daughter and husband have the same interview day when I file their papers at the same time?
-
Did you have your ssn or itin?
-
Yes and we also have a daughter together

They consider me single in filing my taxes because they don't have SSN, ITIN and never lived in the US

Is it possible to just give my certification of employment as proof that I have a full time job and just use my sister's tax return since she's co-sponsoring.
-
Also, my husband don't have any proof that we live together in terms of bills. It was either named to me or named to him. I am his beneficiary in insurance and SALN in the Philippines tho.

Is it really? because I went to 2 different tax companies and said the same thing. I will have to file single for tax purposes only because my husband does not have an SSN and ITIN.

THANKS FOR REPLYING. No, I filed as single because that was suggested by the tax person for they don't have SSN or ITIN. So, I filed single.

I have only started working when I came here in the US. Only For 2 years that's why I only have 2 years of income tax returns (2017 and 2018)

I am a US Citizen (Citizen Born Abroad)
Born and raise in the Philippines and just recently came to live in the US in 2017. I am married for 8 years now and have an 8 year old daughter. My husband and daughter are back in the Philippines. In my marriage, my husband and I never really have had joint accounts or assets because he's the only one who was working at that time. Will that affect he's chances when it comes to proving that our marriage is legitimate? What other documents can I submit in order to prove the legitimacy of our marriage.?
Also, I have only worked for 2 years here in the US and doesn't have 3 years of income tax returns. Will that affect my capability to support? My sister is willing to do a joint support.
Lastly, would you suggest for me to hire a lawyer? will that give me a better chance to get my family approved?

Hello everyone! I am now in the NVC stage. I got an approved I-130 for my spouse and minor child. I am currently in process of filling out the Affidavit of Support for my husband. I don't have anyone that is willing to co sponsor. I am unsure if my current is enough. My last year's (2020) tax returns gross income is $34k, and current income will be approximately ($33k). I have a household of 3 and just relying on my current income. . I know that the poverty line for a household of 3 is $27,450.Will that be enough to qualify for the income requirements? Please help me out. Thank you!
