Not disputing that but you don’t want to risk the fact that their system says your case is refused having an impact like them accidentally sending your case back to the us because the computer says refused do you?
Ok thank you

Yeah it sounds like they pressed the wrong button then - I have heard of it happening sometimes when a second interview is called and instead of changing it from ap to ready (for interview) they have changed it to refused. I still recommend that you contact the embassy and get them to clarify as you have a second interview booked.
Alright. But I have already book the appointment and submitted all the documents they requested at my intial interview

You sent it two days ago or they got it two days ago. Three options - someone pressed the wrong button or they got it and have denied the visa or they have not got it and decided it wasn’t on time and denied the visa.
I would recommend contacting the embassy ASAP, if it’s an accident then it can get corrected and if it really is refused then there is a slim chance that you can get it looked at before they send the case back to the us.
The embassy called me for another interview before changing the status to refused and the 2nd interview is on 19th November. There was no deadline for the tax document. They told me to submit it anytime I get it

Hmm odd, did they give you a timeline on when the tax transcript was due could you have missed a rfe response deadline?
No there was no timeline for the tax transcript besides I just submitted last Monday

Just to clarify you did the dna test and you were sent a copy of the results as well as it being sent to the embassy and it said everyone was related in the way you had claimed to the embassy?
Yeah my DNA was a match and the embassy have received the results but I’m yet to submit my dad IRS tax transcript

Just to check, was it on AP before changing? (Occasionally, some embassies list refused for 221g cases - trying to understand if this is actually a change or just not updated yet)
Yeah it was on AP before it changed to refused

Hello
The co. ask for DNA test at my initial interview and I am done with the DNA and it was successful 99.9%. The embassy contacted me to schedule an appointment for another interview but when I check my case status online, is on REFUSED. So please I want to know if anybody have been through this situation and how did it end. Thank you

Did your case status change from refused or did you hear from the embassy after that
