I think it would be best to stick to the one from your state. I have been working very closely with the one in Vermont and they have been great! Very helpful and very reasurring!!

I had the same p[roblem so i filed with the part that you have with the signatures on it and then they are going to send you a request for evidenc after they start the process which at least it will be in processing. By then i had the part from the province to send in and sent it in and was back on scedule within a week. Hope that helps a little!

I filed my I -130 end of july and just got my NOA-1 back yesterday so now i am ready to send in my I-129F this weekend!! Just have to get my hasband to sign a couple forms. But as far as checking online they dont give you very much information. I am hoping this is the quick part.

Well just got some good news that they are chcking the boxes today for our application and any other one that is lost in these boxes and because St.Albans is sooo backed up its going to be a while anyways. So our local senator is going to have it put back in order because as of right now st.albans is just getting to the visas filed as of july 29 and we sent our aug 16 so it will be soon. She says not to bother resending but that she will make sure that it is processed as fast as possible. But thank you for the advise!! It helps and i am so glad that i found this website its the best thing ever!!!!

So we sent in our K-3 on August 16 after my husband tried to deliver it straight to the St.Albans seeing he lives not far from it. They gave him a special address to send it to and gave him some advice as far as filling and now becuase of that special address our application is locked in some PO Box that they dont even check anymore we have been talking to the senators and everyone shy of George Bush himself. We have been waiting 2 months now and nothing has even happend>??? Why me? If anyone has any ideas for us please forward them my way...we have no re-submitted yet as far as the senators office told us they are going to get them to check it and at least send it back if not they will get it put in the order as where it should be.

So I am looking for more encouragment than help. But here goes I am Canadian and my husband(July 21,2007) is american. We filed the I-130 and are wondering all the steps we can take to hurry this up in any way. Or at least go about it in the right way. We know that when the I-797 come back we send in the I-129F and what I am wondering is if we can send in the I-485 in then? I have job waiting for me down there and could get a letter saying that? Looking for help and anything will help. We are filing in the Vermont service centre and it seems as though that is the fastest of all of them.

I met my fiance while i was living in vermont as a nanny on a J-1 visa. I have recently read that i need to live in my home country for two years. Is this true? I am wondering am I going to have to live in Canada for two years after we get married like it says on the pieces of paper from having a J1 Visa for almost two year. I just foudn out the other day and have no idea what to do. I would like not to have to be away from my husband. Please tell me there is some hope. We are currently in the process of filling out the forms for the K-1 visa. And we live in vemont so we will send it there. And i am going home for a while to get a job before our wedding while everything is being processed. What can i do. I feel like this isnt good news??? wacko.gif
