    There is an option "Does not apply", but I am cautious not providing full information. Technically I have SSN.

    Hi there,

     

    I visited US for student exchange work program in 2005 and got my SSN. I have never been to the US since then. My SSN was lost and I am not sure how to recover it now.

     

    Now I am applying for B-1 Business visa for a short business trip. Two questions in the form which I don't have answer to are: US SSN and US Taxpayer ID.

     

    Technically I have SSN, but I am not able to recover it. What my steps should go through visa application?
