I've called the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines 3 times asking about the health care insurance directive and none of them (including one supervisor) have not a clue as to what I'm referring to or talking about. Maybe Manila was left out of the loop and didn't get the memo. I have 13 year old immigrant who will have an interview on November 12. She had her physical and is in perfect health, has zero health issues, so I assume (maybe incorrectly) that the counselor officer would not have a concern that she would pose a health risk in the next year. Also, I've not found a way to buy health insurance for a 13 year old, she is not our daughter, she is my wife's younger sister, so she can't be included on our health insurance. Does anyone know of a company that would sell a policy to a 13 year old?
