My Mom is already a US Citizen. Will she be able to petition her grandkids ages 7-12 to come to the US? If so, what are the processes that should be done? Please anyone? Help?

No, you greencard is your work authorization that you need to keep current. Your EAD became moot once you received it.
This is just a quick answer!!!! Thankyou sooooo much!

Hello Everyone! First I'd like to thankyou for stopping by to read this. My question is about my EAD. I received my work permit last November and so it will be expiring this November. Should I still apply for a renewal (of my EAD) when I am already approved as a Conditional Permanent Resident? I would really appreciate any answers.

Thankyou all for sharing my joy

I want to thank this site and those who took time to answer my concerns. Last March 19 was my interview for the AOS. We were there about 45 min. early so I thought there was enough time to destress. Finally we were called in, the officer sworn us in then made us sit. He first asked me all the same questions that I filled up in the forms, you know, those that were answered by yes or no......stuff like "Are you a spy?" or something like that. The he asked for our supporting documents, especially with papers that have both of our names in it. I handed him a stack and also showed him an album with our pictures and the ultrasound picture of our baby (I'm 7 months pregnant !. He just browsed over the pictures, gave it back then said he's going to approve my application there and then. I was so overjoyed, I thanked him a million times! He didn't ask anything about our finances or given us any hint of a hard time, he just asked for the supporting documents. It didn't actually take 30 minutes for the interview (in fact, I even had a longer and a harder time ironing my husband's slacks to wear for the interview:wacko: ) I was given the temporary residency and the officer told us to file another form after 2 years for the permanent residency.
Visa Journey has been very helpful. My dilemmas were answered even by just reading the experiences shared by others. I'm sure this site will still continue on helping others and will still continue helping me in my 'journey' in the US. Again, thanks a lot!!!!!

I think you're fine. You already completed the financial paperwork (I-184) when you filed the AOS. Just bring originals to the interview incase the ask, only show them if they ask.
That is such a relief!!! Thanks a lot for your reply. You don't know how much it means to me!

Hi! First of all thankyou very much for your reply.
I came here last June 26, 2007 on a K1 Visa. On July 3, 2007 my husband and I got married. I received my EAD on November 29, 2007. Now I am scheduled for the AOS interview on March 19. My question is, will they be more concerned on our financial status or our marriage. As for our marriage, I think we can prove that we truly are married (for one thing I am 5 months pregnant ). However, when it comes to our financial status, as of now, both of us are not making very good money. When my husband and I filed for the AOS last year, my husband was still doing good. Right now I am working as a Physical Therapy Asst, 24 hrs a week for 18/hour and my husband isn't making that much either. Will I be rejected because of this? What should we do? Please help!!!!
