  1. My wife received her passport with cr1 visa today 2/18 after her interview on 2/10. During the interview they requested translated documents for her daughter's birth certificate, name change certificate, and another copy of our marriage certificate to be uploaded under the daughter's online profile to CEAC.  My wife had the certified translations done locally and emailed to me, which I uploaded to CEAC; then she mailed her and daughter's passports to the embassy, all same day 2/10.  I did receive an email prior to the interview requesting the wife's birth certificate and marriage certificate translations to be uploaded to CEAC but nothing about the daughter.  Well no harm I guess, I was able to upload all the requested documents eventually.  There are a lot of online instructions about receiving a packet along with the visa to bring to the US immigrations on arrival, but my wife received a note saying they don't do that anymore, that the documents have already been transmitted electronically.  The last thing was another payment of $220 each for my wife and daughter to https://my.uscis.gov/uscis-immigrant-fee.  Now just have to see what good flights are available; I prefer Eva but it looks like there are no flights from them until April and most are a bit higher than what I used to pay. There is a paper saying covid test needed before flight.  Don't give up hope, it will all go through eventually.

Congratulations and good luck with the interview.  My wife is DQed on July 27, so hopefully she isn't too far off.

I just got the interview appt letter today.  Interview scheduled for 2/10, hopefully that means the embassy will be open for the interview? Or is it an automated email that will need to reschedule the appointment... not sure.

Hi, just updating my status for any of you who are waiting for your interview date. Our case was DQed at the NVC on June 15 of this year and we just received an interview appointment letter just yesterday. So don't give up hope, the process is moving along.

edit: we are an IR-1 visa applicant

Congratulations and good luck with the interview.  My wife is DQed on July 27, so hopefully she isn't too far off.
