  1. hello everyone, I need your assistance please. Here is my situation. On March 30 2008, my fiance had his interview in Lagos Nigeria, at which time he was denied his visa and the petition was returned to USCIS for revocation. On June 7 2008, I went there and we got married. On June 2 2009, we received a 797 stating the petition had been reaffirmed and forwarded to the embassy in Nigeria. We filed an I-130 on March 30, 2009,which was approved on July 22, 2009. Yesterday, I received an email inviting my now husband back to the embassy for another interview on the I-129F. My question is, should he attend the interview that's scheduled for I129F and if he does not attend will we be penalized when we go for the I-130, which we have decided to persue?

Thanking you inadvance for your assistance in this matter!

  2. Hello, i'm sorry to hear about you and your husband's problem. I'm not sure if this will help are not, but I read a post a year ago, where the couple has told he was HIV positive, he was also from Nigeria, but it turned out to be malaria parasite." Go to African Sub:Saharan and type HIV in the "enter keywords", then look for the posting by "iwantgiveup." Hopefully it will help you.

  3. :secret: Obama & co have problems with numbers, but it's a secret!

The numbers kept changing because the tax plan was a work in progress.

The final draft says $250k, and it hasn't changed since it was released.

It was just this week that different numbers were presented as above or below "middle class", making pundits comment on the variability of his target. If his plan hasn't matured by now, when?

He is an idiot; it's just covered up by the fawning media that orgasms when he speaks.

Can you provide a specific example that alludes to his idiocy?

    I can give you several.

    Advocating baby killing

    Traveling to "57 states"

Choosing Big Mouth Biden for a running mate

Refusing to release his medical records, college transcripts, birth certificate, hiding other records.

Hanging out with terrorists and con artists

Putting down America at every turn

    Refusing to salute the flag

Sitting in Rev Wright's church for 23 years and calling him his mentor

    Long term illegal drug use

Going back on his word to use federal funds for his campaign (lying)

He claimed that his parents conceived him out of their excitement over the civil rights march in Selma, AL. He was born in 1961, the march was held in 1965. (Did he think no one would notice?)

He claimed his father was brought to America with Kennedy intervention. Not true. (Did he think no one would notice?)

He claimed to have voted on war issues while in the US Senate at a time when he wasn't even in the US Senate. (Did he think no one would notice?)

He implied that he was chairman of a Senate committee that he wasn't even a member of. (Did he think no one would notice?)

In his book, Dreams from my Father, he claims that his racial awakening came from reading an article in Time Magazine about skin lightening that Time's historians say doesn't exist. (Did he think no one would notice?)

    Should I add more?

Barack never said he was for abortion, what he said was that's bwtwn the individual, their doctor and minister. But speaking of medical records Palin to this day has not released hers.

On a different note: where are Sarah Palin's medical records? I tend to believe that even candidates for the highest offices are entitled to more privacy than most people seem to believe they ought to have, but release of medical records is something that all national candidates are expected to do, and the other three candidates (Obama, McCain and Biden) have all -- with varying degrees of thoroughness -- released medical information and histories. But Palin hasn't released any of her medical information and apparently now refuses to do so.

What makes Palin's refusal increasingly strange is that she told Brian Williams two weeks that she would release them; the campaign promised ABC News -- whose Kate Snow has tenaciously asked "every day [last] week" -- that it would release them early last week; and yet she still has not done so. It seems clear that she now has no intention of releasing them before the election.

She is a 44-year-old woman who insists that she's had no health problems. How hard can it be to gather her medical records? And what is the reason for her refusal? One can debate whether Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates should have to release medical records -- I'm ambivalent on that question -- but the standard is that they are required at least to release basic medical history, and Palin promised to release hers. So where is it, and why hasn't it been released yet?

Maybe baby Trig is a grandson???

  4. WHAT IF THINGS WERE SWITCHED AROUND?

This is one of the most thoughtful 'WHAT IF' scenarios I

have read. It was on a comment opportunity in a Colorado Springs

newspaper after people voted on who won the debate .

Obama/Biden vs McCain/Palin, what if things were

switched around?.....think about it. Would the country's collective

point of view be different? (10/8/08)

    Ponder the following:

What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the

stage, including a three month old infant and an unwed, pregnant

    teenage daughter?

What if John McCain was a former president of the

    Harvard Law Review?

What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of

    his graduating class?

What if McCain had only married once, and Obama was a

    divorcee?

What if Obama was the candidate who left his first wife

after a severe disfiguring car accident, when she no longer measured up

    to his standards?

What if Obama had met his second wife in a bar and had a

long affair while he was still married?

What if Michelle Obama was the wife who not only became

addicted to pain killers but also acquired them illegally through her

    charitable organization?

What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?

What if Obama had been a member of the Keating Five?

(The Keating Five were five United States Senators accused of corruption

in 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the larger

Savings and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s.)

What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker?

What if Obama couldn't read from a teleprompter?

What if Obama was the one who had military experience

that included discipline problems and a record of crashing seven planes?

What if Obama was the one who was known to display

publicly, on many occasions, a serious anger management problem?

What if Michelle Obama's family had made their money

    from beer distribution?

What if the Obamas had adopted a white child?

You could easily add to this list. If these questions

reflected reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be

    as close as they are?

This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and

minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative

qualities in another when there is a color difference.

    Educational Background:

    Barack Obama:

Columbia University - B.A. Political Science with a

    Specialization in International Relations.

Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cu m Laude

    Joseph Biden:

University of Delaware - B.A. in History and B.A. in

    Political Science.

Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor (J.D.)

    vs.

    John McCain:

United States Naval Academy - Class rank: 894 of 899

    Sarah Palin:

Hawaii Pacific University - 1 semester

North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study

University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism

    Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester

    University of Idaho - 3 semesters - B.A. in

    Journalism

Education isn't everything, but this is about the two

highest offices in the land as well as our standing in the world. You

  5. Hello everyone,

I have a problem, on March 20, 2008, my fiance had his interview in Lagos, at which they told him his visa was approve. However, upon returning today he had to bring a copy of his son mother's death certificate and pictures of her funeral, which he did. Unfortunatelly wasn't issued his visa, but was given a letter stating.

"Dear Visa Applicant, We are returning your visa petition to the Department of Homeland Security office where it was approved with our recommendation that the petition be reviewed for possible revocation. Any futher inquires should be directed to that office. The reasons are as follows:

Evidence submitted indicated this is not a bonafide relationship and that the relationship is for immigration purpose only>'

When I call Homeland Security, this just tell me we need to wait 120 days. Has any one experience this, if so what did you have to do?

Oh yeah in 2006 we applied for a tourist visa, which was denied as well, would that have effected the K1?

One other thing the deceased child mother name is listed on the death certificate as same my fiance, however he claim they've never been married. The child mother has been deceased since 2001, but we did not list any information about her on the petition, as I saw no resaon since there's no marriage certificate in his home country.

Another thing, I only visit him once in 2006 in Lagos, because i wasn't able to fly back in 2007, due to accepting another job and relocating to a different state. May 2008 will be 3 years since we've know each other.

    Any help is greatly appreicated.

    Thanking everyone is advance.
