After my interview a consul said that my visa will be printed out within 1 week, and then he added “but do not make any trip arrangement before you have your visa in-hand.” Do you think it might mean something bad or it is all right?

Is there a way to check the status of passport delivery online at the US Embassy after an interview for immigrant visas? I heard that the embassy sends you an sms that the passport is ready for pick-up by Pony express. I just wonder if I can see online what's going on with my visa and passport. Thanks.

Is it enough to show an appointment confirmation letter for the interview considering that I can't find where I can print out IV delivery confirmation page?

Regarding I-864, I guess it is okay to bring the same form that was earlier submitted to NVC (I-864EZ rather than just I-864)?

It seems to me that it is just to get more money from your visa application. If you apply via an agency you may notice that your fee will be higher by about 40$ (i.e., the exact amount this new institution charges). Perhaps it is an action in response to an increase fee for a tourist visa by the US?

In a medical clinic and the US embassy web site, prices for medical are in dollars. Does it mean that I can pay in rubles or I have to pay in dollars?

We submitted I-864 and tax return for 2010 to NVC. I know that I need to bring this one again for the interview (just a copy, right?). However, in the instructions for the interview, I need to bring most recent tax return. Does it mean that my husband needs to fill out a new I-864 for 2011 too?

What’s the correct contact email address of the Moscow embassy? Is it like on the web site (support-russia@ustraveldocs.com) or like on the instructions to the interview (consulmo@state.gov)? In the past years, I used the latter one, but not sure if it is still the case.

NVC scheduled my interview in Moscow for a spouse visa (IR-1) a few weeks before I fulfilled a two-year home residence requirement from my old J-1 visa. I wonder if there could be a problem if I go for this early interview? Do I have to reschedule it?

The timeline is correct (I am fulfilling a two-year home residence requirement after J1 visa, therefore I am delaying with this process).

I-864 and tax forms have been sent to NVC by my husband last summer.

Was it all right to pay the immigrant fee but not to mail the cover letter to NVC and explanation that I have paid (in response to their letter)?

I found in my email in November that I needed to pay an immigrant fee bill, and I paid this bill two months later in January online, but I did not mail any notification to NVC with cover letter responding to this missing document checklist.

Will the NVC figure it out that I paid the bill after they receive IV packet or what should I do?
