I hope someone can help me with my situation.

My I-751 was denied because i missed my biometric appointment.

I ended up filing I-290B for appeal.

The only problem is that currently i am in India and coming back to US in two weeks.

Does anybody know if i will have any trouble entering USA while my I-290B is pending.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys,

My wife was approved and received her VISA. I just want to thank everyone for the help i received. Below is some details of her interview process.

7:00 Reached the Consulate

11:00 She was called for Interview

11:10 Visa Approved

5:00 Picked up her Visa

Questions asked during the interview:

Who is sponsoring you?

How long have you been married?

What are you getting for your first marriage anniversary?

That is it.

Hopefully, she will fly out to here on the 17th of this month.

I was wondering if someone can tell me what paperwork that need to be submitted at Mumbai Consulate on the day of the Interview.

My wife submitted all the paperwork that VFS office requested to VFS couple of days ago. She received a receipt with the checklist of the stuff she submitted.

Hi Everyone,

My wife's interview is on January 10, 2008 at Mumbai Consulate. She has received the Interview information. They has asked to fill out DS-230 Part I & II. I have already filled out Part I during my NVC process.

The question is does she need to fillout Part I again?

The second question is does my wife need to bring the I-864 Form and the required documents to the VFS office?

My wife's interview is scheduled for Jan 10, 2008 and she received Packet 4 from Mumbai, India.

Does anyone know what the total amount of Fee she has to pay at the VFS Office or during the interview process?

We have gone thru CR1 Visa and i have paid all the necessary fees at NVC.

How can your timeline says that your interview is in January 2008 if DOS or the Embassy hasn't given you interview date? I hope your interview date is before January 2008. My timeline is pretty close to yours. My case got completed on Oct 26th so hopefully soon the Embassy will have my case.

My I-129F and I-130 Petition has been approved and now i am in the middle of I-130 process at NVC.

But, it seems like I-129F will get to Bombay Embassy faster than I-130.

Do i need to write a letter to NVC to stop the I-129F process? If so, does anybody have a format of the letter?

Hey guys,

I am planning on changing jobs during my wife's visa process.

I just found out that NVC received AOS Bill last week and they will soon send out I-864 form.

Once of the requirement in the form is the Employment letter to show your income.

Is it safe to send my current job letter with the form? The reason i ask this is because i have the letter from my current job and i don't want to wait to send the I-864 form after i start the new job in 3 weeks.

What are the alternatives if i send the current job letter with the form?

My husband Changed jobs while our cases were pending,but a letter from his emplyer stating that he did get the job and his payment were enough. They requested for it at the interview.

I have a quick question regarding changing jobs.

I should receive my I-864 soon from NVC. I have a very good paid job right now but i will be giving my resignation for a better job in a week or so.

Should i file I-864 with the old job info or should i put the new job info with the offer letter?

I think i have misread the instructions on James Shortcut v2.0 for AOS Fee Bill.

Does anyone think this will be an issue?

I just received DS 3032 and AOS Fee Bill from NVC yesterday. When i looked at the AOS Fee Bill to compare to the one i created thru James Shortcut and i saw a difference. NVC AOS Fee Bill does not have the NVC Case number below the barcode.

Will this be an issue when they receive my AOS Fee Bill created by using James shortcut?

Did anyone experienced different Fee Bill and NVC processed it?

Also, When i sent out the Choice of Agent email via my wife's email address to NVC. I noticed that i only put down my wife's first name and last name leaving out her middle name. But, when i received the form from NVC it has her middle name in the form.

Will this be another issue or i shouldn't worry about it since i have my NVC case number in the email.

Good news guys,

I just rechecked the USPS website and it says that my AOS Bill has reached St. Louis at 9:45AM today.

I doubt that it will reach the NVC by 12:00PM today and that means i can get my money back for sending it overnight if they fail to deliver the mail by 12:00PM.

It's the right address. I just checked my USPS receipt and the letter I received from them for which they tell you where to send the AOS Fee Bill.

Hhhmmmppp... I wonder why it was returned.

So, your AOS Bill was also returned with a letter?

Did they provide you with a new address where you can send your AOS Bill?

Also, on the money order i wrote to The Department of State and also put down the address. Will the address cause any issues on the money order?

I overnighted the AOS Fee bill yesterday and for some reason i checked the status on USPS website and it says it was return to the sender because it could not be delivered as addressed.

I sent it to the following address:

P.O. Box 790135

St. Louis, MO 63179-0135

Can someone please tell me if the above address is correct or not.

I wonder if USPS will give me credit for not delivering the item.

I just want to know whats the difference between IR1 or CR1. I filed I-130 for my wife and the form doesn't indicate anything about IR1 or CR1.

I am trying to send the AOS Fee bill using James Shortcut and it asks for Visa Classification and i wanted to know if i should put down IR1 or CR1.

Please someone shed some light on my issue.

On the Automated message it says to wait 6 - 8 weeks for the beneficiary to receive the notification.

Does that mean that they have generated the DS-3032 for Choice of Agent? Or the Automated Message will say that it has generated DS-3032?

I just found out that NVC has assigned case # to my petition.

Do i have to wait for NVC to generate DS3032 to send out an email to NVC about choice of agent or i can just do it after receiving the Case #?

I am planning on using James Shortcut for the process.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to know how many Early July Approvers waiting for NVC Case #.

I have been calling the NVC number to find out if they generated case number. My wife's I-130 was approved on the first week of July.

NVC's Automated service keep saying that they don't have any record of my case number or they haven't received it from CSC yet.

Is there a reason behind this delay. I am very anxious to start the NVC process but i can't do anything until they generate Case number.

USCIS has to be one of the worst thing i had to deal with in my life.

If they are charging us so much for the applications, why can't they make it little more convenient for us.

I filed my I-130 in Feb and didn't realize that K3 Visa existed for spouse for two months.

If i had filed for K3 Visa right after i received my NOA1 for I-130 in Feb then i wouldn't be waiting here for my approval.

I guess god has other plans for my wife while she is in india waiting for approval.

well i don't have a clue but its all because of God Almighty. To be honost, i felt the same way as you do when i looked at other Feb I-130 Filler. Most of them got approved before mine from the same region and it seems like i was the last one from Feb. wish you all the best

Why so fast, I mean thats what I don't understand. How approval date seems to go fast. I look at the timeline compared to other people and they have been waiting for a while.

I am still waiting for my approvals even though i applied before you did. I just hope now thats since you got yours then i should get mine soon.

Filed I-130 in Mid Feb and didn't realized that K3 existed until i found VJ website. Ended up filing for K3 in Mid April.

I just hope God is on our side and get our file approved in a week or so.....

The only thing that upsets me that they are quiet few March filers who are still waiting for their approvals. This gives me an indication that ours won't be approved until we hear the March filers approvals first.

I just talked to someone at VSC and they told me that my file is in good status so hopefully i will get an approval soon.

GOD PLEASE APPROVE OUR K3...............

My I-129F was also touched recently but no touches on I-130....I just hope they approve K3 visa soon....Now i wished we'd done K1 process instead of going thru K3. I don't mind dealing with all the headaches after my wife got here.

Thats pretty good since it saves about 2-3 weeks of receiving the packet 3 and sending it back to them. I am guessing you downloaded the packet 3 from Mumbai Consulate website....let me know if i am wrong. I hope to get my approval soon and i just want to start preparing the packet 3 so i don't waste any time....Congratulations on your approval....
