NOA2 date was April 21, 2020. We were documentary qualified at the NVC in August 2020 - this took time because I had to renew my passport to reflect my married name (the name we used in our I-130 submission). Passport renewal was delayed because government offices here were closed due to the lockdown.
Sorry for asking too many questions, where is the beneficiary (you) country?

Hello there! the pandemic and the lockdowns definitely contributed to the delay. Thankfully, I completed my interview early this month, and received my passport/visa yesterday.
Hope everyone is staying safe!
Waoh. Please when was your noa2 approval?, and when were you DQ at NVC?

I had a rfe from Texas and mu country is Nigeria. Mines took 63 days to be approved.
Thanks for the information . Same texas and same home country of Nigeria. That means I will likely get approval before the end of the year.

Hello ,
Finally I130 approved after 13 mths , now just need to get ready for NVC
Finally, an update after several weeks. Please what is your PD and service center?. Is the petition from USC or LPR?
-
Where is everyone?,
This thread hasn't been updated for over a month. No recent approvals?
-
Hi everyone.
I know covid and trump factors have caused some setbacks. Let's just be hopeful 💪
-
No post since June 19. Almost a month now. I guess approvals have been delayed somehow
-
The thread hasn't gotten any approval news lately. It's well. I believe this waiting will be over someday. Almost a year now without been with my spouse.

My people, please look into this.
My case used to be at the California service center, spouse of LPR and PD is August 23.
Response to my recent uscis enquiry returned with a response to follow texas service center as shown in the red circle.
1. Does this mean I will follow texas timeline or stick with former timeline of California?.
2. If my case was eventually transferred to texas, then I'm confused on the blue circled part which state that my case is within time frame. Because according to texas "spouse of LPR" timeline, I have already passed the date of enquiry.
What do you advise?

Approval: April 3,2020
Originally in Nebraska transferred to California
Congratulations. My case is also in California, it wasn't transferred from other centers though. That means I should be expecting approval soonest too.

Oh well as expected...Potomac SC jumps backward for the nth time. It was May 4, 2019 already and the processing time is between 8.5 to 11 months.
Now, it is April 2, 2019 and the frustrating part is that the processing time is between 9 months to 1 year.
Sometimes, the way the centers jump can be beyond understanding. Corona outbreak sit at home could also be the cause
Ironically, California jumped forward from April 25th yesterday to may 12 today.

Now seeing couple of may 2019 approvals from California SC even when receipt date is reading April 24 on uscis website . To those of us at CSC, lets brace up while we celebrate with texas and Potomac who have been approved and still getting approved presently. Our own season is near already. 😊

My case was moved to Cali. Fingers crossed it’s going to be okay 🤞
Fellow California, mine is there too, let's be hopeful. I saw a June approval on Facebook. So we are close

What an irony. California just jumped forward from November 8th 2018 to April 2019 today.
I think some files have been moved from California to other centers
-
Congrats to the approved. Texas and Potomac are set for approvals these period. The rest of us at California and nebreska should brace up and wait a few months. I saw a may 2019 approval in California, so we still have 2 to 3 months to wait for August turn

Not all though. Like on my case, I have been waiting for almost 6 months. Also, majority of July filers under Potomac who signed up here didn’t get NOA2 yet.
I wonder why there was this case who filed last September 2019 and got NOA2 last month. Indeed, that was too fast. It took them 4 months and 2 days only to get an approval.
I hope reviewing our papers is really on FIFO basis🙏
The bolded remind me of first accounting course. Fifo and LIFO 😁
Back to topic, let's just be hopeful and wait patiently

Just wondering if I am the only member on this group who is yet to get an interview letter.
COVID really messed things up. Congratulations to folks who have finished the process before the backlogs
