My IO didn’t ask me for anything. I didn’t go with my tax forms, just a copy of my application and passports just incase, but she did ask for my green card to verify my identity. And oh! I also went in looking as CLASSY and BEAUTIFUL with a lot of smiles and confidence😂 as I could while praying in my heart that all goes smoothly so go in with confidence and smiles! It softens the atmosphere for you.
You already got approved? WOW I remember you applying the same month I did. I am really happy for you. I cannot imagine the way you felt after the interview.Did they approved you the same day or after? what state are you in? My fingerprints were done in Greer SC and my interview is in Charlotte NC Oct 8th at 2:15 PM Yes I am planning to "dress to success" business casual like I am going to a job interview

You MUST BRING the following with you to the interview:
•
This letter.

Your Alien Registration Card ("green card").
•
Any evidence of Selective Service Registration.
•
Your passport and/or any other documents you used in connection with any entries into the United States.
•
Those items noted below which are applicable to you:
If applying for NATURALIZATION AS THE SPOUSE of a United States Citizen;
•
Your marriage certificate.
•
Proof of death or divorce for each prior marriage of yourself or spouse.
•
Your spouse's birth or naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship.
If applying for NATURALIZATION as a member of the United States Armed Forces;
•
Your discharge certificate, or form DD214.aside from this,do you have to bring your tax forms? I have my interview coming Oct 8th, and the timeline shifted again in online website, it was January 2020, now it is Feb 2020 to complete the whole process.
I have a passport but it is way expired I have only use it once when I got my green card and went to Mexico for a day and come back. Do I need to bring that with me as well?

Hey congratulations on your approval!
1) I’d wait for the card to arrive. Actually that’s what i did before filing my N-400
2) i dont think it is necessary to upload statements for all 3 years. YTD should do. Maybe some from 2018. Don’t forget to upload your Tax Returns for the past 3 years at least. Good luck and welcome to the group!
@blushbaby welcome to the group! I’m sure that your estimate will change (shorten) after you are done with your biometrics. Happened to almost all of us here. Mine shifted from July 2020 to May 2020 and now it says February 2020
Mine got shifted today from February 2020 to January 2020. My letter had code 5 and got biometrics in 2 fingers? photo and signature taken- it took less than 15 mins all together.

Changes in the US Naturalization test coming December 2020/Early 2021... Revised version....

So do I need to be worried that I still can’t find my completion estimate date? Lol. I filed 07/12 late at night. In my current address, I believe my Field Office is Minneapolis MN. I heard they are not the most efficient office.
It takes 48 hrs to update the system, mine took 3 days, you should get a letter on the regular mail as well.

There is someone in the march filer who had their interview in april from that field office.
Right after biometric
I'll better start studying. I did before but need to refresh. That is super fast. In that particular office (Greer) you don't even feel you are dealing with immigration, they are soooo sooo nice, last time I was there, they even invited me some coffee and dunkin donuts lol now the Charlotte office is another story.It's been so long since I got my green card I forgot the whole process, always procrastinating and leaving everything for the last minute ( Got my green card 2002- IR6 visa) but applied in 1997 long long time ago lol no more procrastination
