  1. Hi.

from all the figures that I have read,it's just crazy..

    it shouldn't be that expensive.

I filed my annulment way back 2006 and got the court order in less than a year.

I filed it in cebu..I paid around like 70T to 80T.

Now I am here in GA,happily married...and i have the custody of my kids. :innocent:

  2. It has been a long road, and I want to thank VJ members who have shared their experiences. I found out Mary was APPROVED.:dance: I am soooooo happy!!!!!! She paid her delbros fee, and received her original documents she requested back from them. I wish all of those who are going thru the process, good luck to you!!!!! Now on to plan a wedding....................

    Eddie

Congratulations Eddie!!! I know Mary is glad to get through the interview. I wish the best for both you and Mary and I know that you are looking forward to meeting them at the airport when they arrive here. I hope that Maria's medical and interview will also go through as well and I will be telling you soon that hers was approved. Thanks for all of your help Eddie!

  3. Thanks! No, I think you can call the DOS for any applications that are sent. I waited about 2 weeks after I received our case number from the NVC before calling the DOS every day. We did not have to send in anything to them. The US embassy in Manila received our case and on July 6th the DOS told me that our case was qualified for an interview date. Hopefully you will get some news on your case soon. Good luck to the both of you.

Hi Ryza, I see Eddie has given you the number to DOS. Eddie has been a big help to me. To find out your case number from NVC you can call them at 603-334-0700 and you can call them up to midnight. I started calling them about 2 days after I received my NOA2 and called everyday until I was given our case number. I hope that this will help you. Good luck to the both of you!

  4. After calling the State Department every day for the past 2-1/2 weeks I finally got Maria's interview date and on Friday the 13th.:dance::yes: It turned out to be a lucky day for us. Maria's interview date is September 13th and the exam is on September 6th. I hope that those still waiting will soon receive good news on their K-1's.

  6. We have a lot of evidence of us meeting in person and of a ongoing relationship. When put together it makes a huge package. I am wondering if it is too big? It is about 3/4 of an inch thick. Do any of you guys think this is excessive? I was thinking it might agitate the agent reviewing it. I just want to nip any problems in the bud before they occur.

I don't think it will agitate the agent reviewing it becase my package was about 1-1/4 inches thick.

  7. First of all, congratulations! Secondly, I see you called the DOS to get an interview date, is this something that can only be done with applications from the Phillipines or from other countries as well? I thought you had to send in a few things to the embassy before they would give you an interview date...
