If the CO said a joint sponsor is needed,  that is all they will accept.

At present it would be 2018 well above the guidelines/  they do not have to accept the bare minimum

I’m $10,000 above guidelines. My lawyer told me it would be fine to submit new taxes for this year. It’s so complicated. Everybody seems to have different information. I have no idea.

  2. They only require the most recent tax return. He will only be responsible for the people he sponsored, not their families. I met the income requirements and my fiancé was still told we needed a joint sponsor at the interview. Casablanca is just a really tough Embassy. I wasn’t able to find a joint sponsor so I’ve just submitted my new tax transcripts for this year since I made more money and I’m hoping it’s enough.

    we finally made it

just have to wait now for the oath ceremony

WOW   long road 9 years from 1st K1 denial and thru an appeals court to be approved

for those of you going thru a difficult path for your visa process

    it is hard to wait

it is heartbreaking to be apart

immigration may at times seem heartless but they have a job clearly spelled out and they need to follow proceedure

stats in the Nashville office Friday said USCIS approves 26,000 applications daily

    and 78 adoptions daily

In  the end it is all worth it and there is a light at the end of this tunnel

    good luck to all

Yesssss congratulations!!! I wish you two the best!

    then she was in luck

and i am sure one of the things Casa does it is string some interviews out (sometimes with a denial to see how far the couple will go)  just to see who will break up

when adil interviewed and i waited outside with another Florida woman (VJ member)  she divorced him after her Rachid was denied/ said she just could not afford to go any further

Oh that’s really sad for that man. I’m willing to do whatever it takes but I’m really hoping  our wait is over soon. 😢

K1 is taking a long time to schedule in Casa /  as you see they are months behind as there are mountains of applications coming to USCIS from Morocco now

It’s been frustrating. I know a Moroccan Woman who’s fiancé is Moroccan (In America)  and she got an interview after waiting 2 weeks. They called her and let her know that there were some couples who had split up and asked if she wanted to take their place in line.

    Hello Eveyone,

I was wondering if anyone know anything about why its taking forever to schedule an interview in Casablanca Morocco for K1 visa.

my approved case left the NVC beginning of April 2019, CEAC status has been in READY since beginning of april as well, and neither my fiance or I have received any emails or calls from the Casablanca consulate.

i haven't emailed or called the embassy just yet hoping everyday that it will be the day they will contact me.

should I email them or call them, i have seen 1 person so far who was a week ahead of me and they already had their interview 6/4/19.

any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance.

Our interview date is set for 7 months after our papers were forwarded from nvc

I’ve been very fortunate about olive oil.  My husband has been able to easily obtain this for me to cook with during my stay.  Perhaps it’s because I’m not in one of the larger cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier or Marrakesh.  I haven’t looked for Saffron as I don’t cook with it.  Thyme has been what I have been searching for as of late.

So just wondering about the Consulate in Casablanca any idea how long they take to do the interview once the NVC processes their side?  Do they only schedule appointments once a month?  (I read that somewhere.)

My fiancé and I had our papers forwarded from nvc on January 10th we just got our interview scheduled for July 11. It took so long!!
