  1. Does anyone know if you can schedule your medical and interview with London online...and how? (sort of like others did with other consulates. :help:

Hello C and P we are going through London, there is no way of doing ours online, you have to wait for packet 3. We got our packet 4 today and our interview is scheduled for October 5th. Check our timeline to get the most accurate info on time frames as you and us both are going through the same embassy.

    good luck!

  2. Have a little empathy. I see from your timeline you did not have to wait 140 days plus for approval and that you are almost at the end of your journey. Kits_24_faith is still waiting to move on. Do you really believe he should be less stressed because he will not be bringing his fiancee here until January? Maybe I am missing something!

you are missing something! If you can't see that i was trying to calm him down a bit, then i don't know what to tell you. It doesn't matter if he's 140 days or I'm 120 days, the fact is we are all still waiting, right? My plans of having my SO here has come and gone, his plans are still in the future, so what don't you understand about this? Read again what i wrote, carefully this time, before you question my empathy and maybe you'll understand how i was trying to make him see the bright side.

Another fact remains that some might get there NOA2 quicker than others but in no way does that mean his SO will come into the states quicker. Kits SO could very well come before somemone who has already gotten an NOA2, nothing in this process is set in stone and at any givin time your case could be held back.

  3. Thank you ladywhite.. I just thank God for all the blessings even though me and my fiancee are going through tough times due to the long wait. I know it will come..and we are praying for the NOA2 and also for lots of patience and leave it to God.. our timing and the USCIS's timing may not be perfect..but God's timing is always perfect..not too early or too late..

You know, i read somewhere else that you planned on bringing your love in January 2008 ( After Christmas) if thats your plan anyway, i would not worry so much about not getting approved yet. you have nearly 4 months till that time to come, so why worry? you will be approved by then.

I want my baby to come to me now! and as soon as she gets her visa, she is coming the next day! so obviously were more on edge at waiting. But you have time cause thats what you wanted anyway. Right? so don't worry or get stressed out.

  4. I have a question for everyone... Have you already sent all the documents on to your fiance? If so, how did you package it? I am using a 2in binder and page protectors, but I am wondering... if he is going to have to mail most of that stuff in with the packet 3, won't he just have to pull it all apart anyways? What do they even ask for with the packet 3, or is it different at every embassy? we are using Frankfurt.

Still wondering??? Has anybody sent on their documents?? Also.. I keep hearing KEV#... I got a FRN# is this normal? i know it is probably a dumb question.. but still...

Well, my fiancee was here in the states recently and i just gave her all the paperwork to take with her. But as far as i know, your partner doesn't need it for packet 3, he/she only needs that stuff for the interview. As far as KEV# or FRN# it has everything to do with your country, as mine was LND for London, so its normal.

    Good Luck!

  5. Update from us:

we finally got some great news today. My girl got packet 3 from London. She made the Medical appointment for September 1st, but will send out the packet on Monday (its better to double and triple check everything rather then send it tomorrow and have it sit in the mailroom all weekend).

So, we are hoping for a September Interview and an early October arrival.

for everyones info, it took exactly 8 days from NVC sending it to the embassy and my fiancee getting packet 3, i think thats pretty good for our government

  6. Right, when we received packet 3 it didn't mention the date they received it, just that they "are ready to process our case"

The only way to find that out (as far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong!) is to contact the embassy and ask them directly. Same thing with NVC...But the NVC was really the least helpful point through the process, their line is always busy, and they have a lot of delay answering emails... they answered ours days after sending our packet to the embassy, saying only that we should forward all inquires to the embassy now (mmm...right...doesn't make much sense when I'm asking what day did the NVC receive our papers and what day did they send them out)

The embassy has been very helpful so far; they answer our emails within a few hours, and demonstrate willingness to help.

    Saludos,

    Caro

Thank you Caro, appreciate the info. My Fiance told me that in order to call the London Embassy, they are asking for some ridiculous amount of money. Something like 25 pounds direct call or a pound a minute (probably put me on hold for 30 minutes), they're not making it very easy to ask a simple question. I might try emailing, i just don't want to confuse them further, they don't seam to be the brightest people working at these places. So, maybe I'll wait just a bit longer.

    thanks again mate

  7. Does anyone know where we can look or call to find out if the embassy has received our case? Not that NVC has sent it, cause i already got that information. I'm strictly just looking for info once the embassy receives it.

I've been checking March filers and in almost all of there timelines, they include dates of when Embassy's have received it and what date they sent out packet 3. Where can i get this info?

    Thanks

That's a great question! I would like to know that myself.

So, i guess no one knew the answer to this? :help:

  8. I never heard of this being a problem. Divorces can take a long time to get finalized and before the final date a couple could already be separated and dating others. As long as the process has been filed, all parties can date but not get married (until the final date)

This is just my opinion as I'm not completely positive, But as long as you can prove your relationship, it shouldn't matter and if they ask too many questions about this, just remember, divorce is not against the law and i don't think they can use it against anyone. Just say you were separated and you guys were just waiting on the final date. Everyone has the right to move on, even if its one day after the final divorce date. In my opinion of course.

  10. Another possibility is that the Adjudicator could not find the divorce decree (maybe it got stuck to another page, or perhaps fell out of your file.)

You can call the USCIS service center using the RFE trick (in your case its not a trick) and speak to an adjudicator to find out.

What Divorce, they have never been married...

Anyway kits_24_faith, Im sorry you are going through this, we all know it sucks,,, but i have to say, you first started todays post saying better safe then sorry. So why did you rush and send it today. You ask for advice, so you should have read everyones post before you sent it out to cover everything. etripke is absolutely correct in what he said, Its too bad you sent it out before he posted. Lets just hope you sent enough info, can you tell us exactly what you sent, you may be covered. Give us a list of what you sent and we shall see if maybe your ok, you may be just fine, no use to worry at this point. good luck.

  11. Waiting for NVC here.......we almost call them everyday but no case there yet.......its been almost 2 weeks since we got our NOA2.......... :crying: :crying: :crying:

Hi skyblue06, your post says you're still waiting but your timeline in your signature says you got the NVC hardcopy. Thats awesome, good luck!

btw, did they include the new NVC case number in that letter? thanks for your help

    Harout

  12. I was going to start a thread exactly like this, So i'm glad you did. Great idea to get through the next step. I'm with both of you, still waiting for the NVC letter. I called at the end of the first week, Not there yet. I called at the end of the second week, Not there yet. From what i have gathered, it takes anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks to get to NVC, So its nice to start seeing April filers get through to NVC.

    Peace

  13. Hi guys and thanks for the responses

Yes Yodrak, it was the fact that my son was a derivative of my petition that confused us...we weren't required to pay a an extra fee for him when we submitted the I-129F. Unfortunately there is no mention of his requiring his own visa that needs to be paid for on interview day anywhere on the London Embassy website, or whether he still derives his status from mine. Had he been required to attend the interview I would have probably just assumed he would be issued his own visa. This isn't a big deal particularly, I just want to be prepared on the day.

Also...YuAndDan mention my son would also need his own I-134 affidavit, my fiance has already supplied me with a notarized I-134 and my sons name was included on there. Because of that, I assumed the one affadavit covered both of us...can anyone clarify this for me?

thanks so much for the help.

    Lisa

  14. For K1 visas you will need tax transcripts from the IRS or copies of tax returns with copies of W2s, letter of employment and copies of paychecks for the last 3 months. The I-134 does need to be notarized.

thanks a lot for your help... good luck

  15. Don't let the NVC confuse you. All you need are either: 1. tax transcripts from the IRS (no W2s needed). OR 2. copies of tax returns WITH copies of the W2s. That's it.

hi, is this the same info for the I-134 affidavit of support? and does it have to be notarized? thanks alot for your help

  16. Well, we got some great news today, I checked the USCIS site and it said we were approved and our Notice was sent out yesterday, July 26. Of course we are very very excited, Just wanted to come by, update our time line and post here to reassure others to hang in there. We shared the same date as many of you. So you all should be next.

I must also say, i only called once using the RFE trick, it was a week ago today and the lady said our case was on route to a case worker. It hadn't been assigned yet but she said, it was "on route". We never got a single touch, not even when i made the call, none whatsoever and today it just said it was approved and sent to us. So do not worry if you dn't get any touches.

    Good luck everyone!
