I know that but my question is why I have to sign the voluntary departure , it is like i don't want nothing and then if i sign i will put my self in deportation that is I need to know if somebody that already got the residency in their country had to sign the voluntary departure? Before the judge before leaving the USA.

No I don't have any problem. but the lawyer told me that it is more easy to ask for the voluntary departure,

I have a question you left the USA to go to your country to get the Visa? The judge made you sign the voluntary departure or only tell you go for your Visa, because I have to go in consular process too.

I got the waiver approved but I have to go to the country to get my residency, how about before leaving why I have to sign the voluntary departure , because I have a pending case that the judge needs to close but my lawyer told me if the judge doesn't want I have to sign the voluntary departure, why if my waiver is already approved here in the USA, is someone tell me us it is normal or is in this similar situation. Thank you 🙁

Hi! We sent our I601a on Feb 6. It was delivered on Feb 8. We received email and text on Feb 24 stating the case was in Nebraska. When I check on USCIS it says Fingerprint Fee accepted on Feb 23. Then finally on March 24 we received the fingerprint appt for April 5. I am so anxious to see an approval from Nebraska!!!! It is killing me not to even have a timeline to compare to since these cases just started going to Nebraska. Our NVC packet was delivered yesterday. And this weekend I am making my husband get the DS260 done.
I have a question how is the process in the court before the judge to go into consular process and get the Visa, to leave the USA we have to sign the voluntary departure? And then go to the country to ask for the Visa?

I understand when you sign the voluntary departure it is because you don't have a migratory relief but I have the waiver approved I think something is wrong with all this I have to ask another lawyer about it , I thought that only when my case in court is closed I have to make the appointment for get my Visa in the embassy but , but in my situation my lawyer told if the judge doesn't want to closed my case I have to ask the judge for voluntary departure, I don't think so it is correct, because if I do it then I will lose my approved waiver. Help please 😥
