  1. Hello all, thank you for all your help. I have a question, my wife entered US on 12/26/07 on CR1 visa. At the airport she got a stamp in her passport until 12/25/09. Question, we've been married less than two years, do we have to remove conditions at 90 day her green card expiration, or she will get a 10yr green card. Also, date stamp in her password, is that our anniversary date or it will be on a green card?

  2. dgv,

I-864A is an agreement between a Sponsor and their Household Member that allows the to Sponsor to use the Household Member's financial resources along with their own on the I-864.

Will you be showing your wife's financial resources along with your own on your I-864?

Hello all, I have a question

My wife will be traveling (moving) to US with my stepchild. Question in section 24 on I-864, what do I select "d" or "e"? Because it says (The person listed above, does not need to

complete Form I-864A because he/she is the intending immigrant and has no

accompanying dependents), well she is traveling with a dependent, so does that mean I have to file form I-864A?

    No, just mine.

  5. I'm saying do nothing. Sending docs to NVC sounds like "something" to me.
So you are saying don't send any docs to NVC, and just wait?
I recommend you do NOTHING until your wife's I-130 petition is approved. If you are going the K3 route anyway, the I-130 for the child just sits and waits until it is used for the AOS process.
Ok, I send my forms in the same envelope with a payment for both, I got 2, diffirent case # NOA1 for both at the same time, now I get an approval just for child. So now all docs will be send to NVC and my wife will still wait for an approval for 6 or months? I am so confused, don't know what to do?

I'll believe this is actually the status when the case file gets to NVC. USCIS is known for making mistakes on status updates. A 12 day approval is extremely rare. Still the OP can do nothing meaningful until the spouse's I-130 is approved.

    OK, thanks

  7. you are making me confused.. actually, I think the person that just got approved had two I-130s.. one for his wife, and one for his kid.. but the I-130 for his kid got approved.. no wonder it was so fast.. you don't need to have a "bonafide marriage" evidence on that, ^_^ , but it would have been probably better to send it together (would have helped the wife I-130 too)..

Everything was send at the same time and in the same envelope, and I got NOA1 at the same time.

  9. I have to diffirent case numbers, because I filed for my wife and her child, today I got an email saying that one of my cases was approved, and notice was send, and a case number is for a child.

I just looked at my NOA1 on my I-130 for my wife, and the approval was only made for my 5yr old stepchild  , what do I need to do? :help: :help: :help: :help:

NOA1 is not an approval. It is just a receipt. Your timeline says nothing about an NOA2 or petition approval. Please clarify your question.
