When my wife checked her case last week it said “Fingerprint Review Was Completed” and she did not have a biometrics appointment as well.

Today she had received a USCIS letter in the mail. USCIS stated that they are able to reuse her previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics so no biometric appointment is necessary.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for updating your timeline.

9/21/2019 - We received email case update notice saying "Fingerprint Review was Completed". We did not have a biometrics appointment with our I-751 petition. I guess they used the fingerprints from our original biometrics appointment from the original green card(I-485) petition. Our timeline has been updated. My instinct and USCIS history thus far in this process leads me to believe we will not have an interview. We are looking forward to the arrival of our new green card!

I will also add that my wife(petitioner) and I left the USA this summer for  7 weeks and she did not have any problem returning. She provided her expired 2 year GC and the NOA letter to immigration upon our return.

Wishing EVERYONE the best of luck in their immigration pursuit!

    Hi RanKan,

Where service center did you submit I-751 form?

    Thanks!

I just thought I'd pop back in here to update:  I still have not received my biometrics appt letter after receiving my NOA1 since the end of May (it was dated 5/22).

I called USCIS yesterday after a long 50 min wait - the lady who answered looked into it and said that we should be getting our Biometrics Letter within 30 days after the NOA1.  In my case specifically, she was able to check and see that apparently my biometrics appointment has not even been scheduled yet, for some reason.

I did submit a case inquiry online a week ago and she saw that, so she said its been registered on the system and I should be getting an email by the first week of August about next steps.  She said they would not be sending my biometrics info over the email but it should be a correspondence that says a biometric letter has been or will be sent.

Again, not much new information there but it was comforting speaking to someone about it.  She was actually able to tell me that its not that anything was lost in the mail - its just that for some reason it has not been scheduled - and I suspect that for many of us at SRC that may be the case.  If anything else changes I will let all know.

I still haven’t receive a biometric appointment letter yet. My NOA1 date is 5/10/2019, SRC - TSC. Does anyone receive the biometric letter or have any update? I’m so worried ☹️

    Thanks!
