Does anyone know why embassy in bombay reqires to submit all the paperwork 7 to 10 days prior to the interview. Also my wife missed submition window to submit all the paperwork at bombay embassy. I submitted all the paper work here because i filled her file from USA. Anyone had this kind of problem before? Please let me know.

Well i send my application same time as you did and my wife's interview is setup for January 2008 but here guess what her file reached mubai on October 29th. i would say as soon they approved your DS230 your interview will be setup for January if your file is complete by end of November or it my go to Feb.

For FYI, DS-230 cover page is different. I just got my DS-230 today and cover sheet is different. It's not like james shortcut.
