Well now my wife is fairly certain that when we went for the Infopass appointment, the guy took something from me saying that I wouldn't need it anymore as it was expiring. Do you think calling USCIS would be any help?

Hi everyone,
As we were getting all of our stuff together to send off for AOS, I couldn't find my I-94. I've spent an entire day turning our apartment upside down but can't seem to find it. However, as the I-94 had already expired, I just wanted to make sure that they needed it. Obviously it could still turn up but just wondering whether my only option is to send off for a replacement. I did have an infopass appointment in Chicago at the beginning of February about a CBP ####### up when I entered the country. I can't remember if I took it with though.
Any help or suggestions?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Sorry to bump guys but just wondering if anyone knew the answer to this?

Hi guys, I'm currently trying to fill in the AOS paperwork. On the I-485 I have to answer "Current USCIS Status" and "Expires on" but due to being out of status for a while, I'm wondering what to put here? Should I just follow the guides and write K-1 visa holder? And also what to write in the expires on box as it's expired already. Should K-1 be entered as Current Immigration Status on the I-765 too?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Don't worry, I know that I have to get these forms in quickly.

Yes I did get approved! And like Scarlett, I'll be heading for some sleep soon. Lord knows I lost enough last night through worry.

Thanks Julez, you've just put a very nervous man at ease!

It's 2 days till my interview and I'm in panic mode about everything I need. The question I wanted to ask is, do I need my SO birth certificate? She hasn't sent it to me and I don't want it to be one of those things I have to have and I don't. Never have I been this stressed.

I have my interview the 29th October. I can't wait!
And yes people, I need to fill my timeline in. I will do so shortly when I remember dates and stuff.

Hi guys and girls. I've received packet 3 from the embassy and I'm doing the forms to return to them but I notice that on the DS-156 I need to provide my passport number. The problem being that my passport is lost and I'm currently awaiting a new one. Am I able to return this form without the passport number and then fill that in at the embassy?

Sorry to bring this up again but I have another question and I figured it would be better just to ask in this topic again. I signed and dated my G-325A on the 13th August and my fiancee is filing today. Now I'm not sure whether I read that the forms have to be filed within 30 days of being signed. I've looked but can't seem to find anywhere whether this is the case. Can someone answer and let me know if so? Thanks again.

Thankfully she found it but thanks again for all your help.

OK thanks a lot for the answer.

OK so my fiancee was getting everything prepared to send off this week but she's lost the letter of intent that I sent. Am I able to print one off, sign it and then scan it back on to my computer so I can e-mail it to her to save (a little) time or do I need to send an original through the post to her? Also, I know that the processing fees have changed but the forms are still the same correct?
Thanks to anyone who can help me.

The first time I visited the US they didn't take the I-94 part from my passport when we left. The next time I visited though the officer at POE just took it out of my passport before putting the new one in. I'd have worried about it though if I'd known it could cause some problems. Now I always make sure it's taken out of my passport.

Thanks a lot for your help everyone. I've just noticed that the example forms on here show that on the first of the 4 pages the box that's been ticked at the bottom is the "Other" box with I-129 Fiancee Visa next to it but on the other 3 pages the "Naturalization" box has been ticked. A mistake?

It's been a long time sinc eI filled it in...can you use numbers? If you can just type 11/00/07 or whatever..that should work. Otherwise, just go with Nov....the forms need to be *complete* that is FOR SURE...but I don't think they're half as fussy about things like punctuation, the type of fasteners used in the packet, etc etc as so many people think! That said, I worried about the same sort of things when I filed mine, so I'm def. not looking down on you for it! Good luck for a speedy visa journey...

Oh I wish it were that easy. But it actually asks for the month and year I moved in to the place. I just want to get these done today so I can stop thinking about them. Thanks for your help though and for the good luck!

Hi everyone,
I'm just about to start filling in my G-325A to send to my American fiancee but am having trouble fitting the month that I moved in to my house on the form. If I type November in to the form online Adobe shows part of the word and then a plus sign. Tried to fill in by hand but I've got monster writing so this won't fit either. Is there any other way to get around this or will they accept "Nov" on the form?
I also can't remember the start and end dates for my last job and I'm assuming that they will need this information. All your help is appreciated.

Sorry guys, this is all a rush as I'm due to fly from Chicago to Denver, Colorado later this month. Now I've read on here that some people think I could get stopped by Immigration and I was just wondering whether anyone else had experiences of this or knows of any topics on this forum. I'm more worried as I wouldn't even have an I-94 to show. Even though the stamp in my passport has the date of the expiry of the I-94 written underneath it.
