Zaback21,
wow thank you so so much. let me look into it. and ill definitely be sure to have a discussion with our current lawyer about all this. thanks for all the info!!

Hi zaback21
The Visa Bulletin is now showing that AOS applicants can only use the Dates for Filing chart. We have contacted our lawyer and was informed what we do need to use the Dates for Filing chart. And this means we didn't make it.
I was so excited until this whole Dates for Filing thing came to play.

By any chance is there a prediction for Dates for Filing chart for August. AOS applicants cannot use the Final Action Date chart for Family Based.
-
The Final Action Date is current, the Date for Filing is still 8 Mar 2019.
If my husband's PD is 15 May 2019 (he's an F-1 student in the US, I'm a GC holder) - does this means that we can't file Adjustment of Status for him in July? Cuz I think that family based petition goes with the Date for Filing date.

The visa bulletin is out, and it shows that the Application Final Action date is Current for the F2A category. However, the Date for Filing date for F2A is 8 March 2019.
For AOS cases such as ours (Green card holder wife, F-1 citizen husband with priority date of 15 May 2019) - should we look at the Final Action Date or Date for Filing.
I hope we can use the Final Action Date cuz it'll be current in July.

I'm confused and anxious at the same time. My husband (F-1 student)'s priority date is April 10 2019. We are in the F2A category. We are not sure if we can Adjust Status this coming July cuz we don't know if we should look at the Final Action chart, or Date for Filing chart. If USCIS goes with the Date for Filing chart, my husband won't be eligible for aos.

I see this message for a lot of East Coast states, like Maryland and NY. But not for California or Texas
